Well, I did hear that the broadway version of Mary Poppins was a bit more austere than the movie & the reviews from New York aren't great - but I'm no theater buff, so I'm hoping that ignorance prevails and I really like it :goodvibes

My Mom saw Mary Poppin on Broadway last year and she LOVED IT! She is not really a "Disney" person, but she said she felt like a little kid, sitting in awe with her mouth hanging open. So that is just on person's experience.

I have asked for tickets to see the traveling company at the Kennedy Center in DC for my Birthday in August. I hope you have a great time!

Which Philosophy lotion did you get? I'm addicted to the "Amazing Grace" fragrance

I am also a Philisophy and Bare Minerals lover. Lately I have been using the Be Somebody shower gel/ shampoo and I LOVE the Purity made simple clenser

There has been a lot of talk about the Rainforest Room - I'm out of the loop here...what is the Rainforest Room?
From the DIS site: "At the Vista Spa, there's a wonderful Tropical Rainforest where you can relax on the heated tile lounge chairs, enjoy an aromatherapy scented session in a steam room and refresh yourself in an aromatic mist and rainfall shower. (The fee for this is determined by varying factors.)"

A few days ago I asked if I should find out if there was another place in the hotel we could meet on Friday at 6 because someone wrote that the pool closes at dusk. I did not hear from anyone so should I take it that the pool is OK? IF not let me know.

"Anyone" being a DISer or someone from the hotel? I posted the managers e-mail address for you.

Hello Cougars!

My friend Jack will be the guy in your photo. He has agreed. I can't wait to see the final picture! See you all in a few days!!

~Natalie

Don't get me wrong. It is a very well done movie. If you haven't see then by all means take the time to see it. My husband and I enjoyed it so much. The graphics are amazing! I was just hoping for something else. :confused3

I saw it too but not in 3D :3dglasses because it was sold out the day we could go. I hope that it is showing at least a couple of times. :3dglasses

My DW is a late bloomer when it comes to getting excited about these trips but I think it beginning to hit her! She has at least started thinking about things to do onboard. :goodvibes

On the other hand she has not packed a thing nor even thought about it! :laundy: Meanwhile I have my main suitcase packed and at the door. :snooty:

I still have not done my taxes yet :headache: but as soon as I close out my DISBoard visit my plan is to go to the Maryland state website and download their tax forms. :surfweb:

Morning (yeah, I know, nearly lunch, things are heating up here and soooo much to do. . .) Anywho, My DH and stayed at CIS last Sept. and enjoyed the pool in the afternoon, went our for some dinner and when we returned realized it was closed (so sad for my kiddos) BUT we were up and down all evening (usig internet, snacks, etc w/ 4 kids in tow ) and each time I saw a group sitting at a table out by the pool even though it was upwards of 11pm???? Didn't seem to be a problem?

Also the entire breakfast area is right there inside and it is a very large area. The area as you come in (up by registration)has comfy chairs and couches as well but is rather small.

My DH and I do not land at MCO until around 8pm and then we will rent a car and be down but it could be close to 10pm before we get in so not sure anyone will still be up and around but we will look for you all in each of those places! And look for our lanyards too!

HTH only 9 more sleeps and we are on our way!!!!!

Hi Eleasa, Jim & Raine!

I'd recommend Downtown Disney -- you'll have better selection there. Elian just got his watch (at Sears, of all places) and it is a Mickey Mouse digital watch. he is very excited.

Me, I am excited about finishing the work I have to do before we go... and finishing our packing... <g>

-- Adrienne : )

Hi Adrienne, hope you are enjoying Passover! Thanks for the advice.

I asked Raine what he was looking forward to most and he said "meeting Elian". :)

Im so excited myself. I feel like the little kid in the Disney commercials "Im too excited to sleep!" :lmao: Haven't really started packing yet, but I have my lists, my many, many lists :rotfl2:

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Downtown Disney... absolutely at the world of Disney store

I second this! The watches are in the same room w/ the jewelry if that helps...WOD is one big store!!

Also, if you dine at certain wdw quick service restaurants that day or if you're an annual passholder, ask about a discount on your purchase. They were doing a 20% coupon at quick service until April 17th & theres currently a 10% off for passholders...it could be extended.

I will be sporting my red minnie watch onboard :)

Does anyone know, who uses Dreams Unlimited as their Travel Agent, if I can just use their online payment screen to pay my gratuities ahead of time (tips) and if that is somehow seperate or different then putting money on my on-board account (like for Palo ressies)?

I have 3 e-mails into dreams but have not gotten a response back since I emailed them last night and again 2x this am:confused3.

thanks for any help, maybe I should ask this out on the regular cruise forum for a bigger pool of respondants?
