Finally they sent out our docs but instead of sending them here to Florida they sent them to our TA in CT! Now she has to send them to us- but they are getting closer.

I wish I knew about the boxtops earlier, I could of have some of the people in our development saving them. I am a retired teacher and my school collected them so I know how the competition goes. In our school whoever got the most for the month had a pizza party or something special.

I checked with Disney today again about the case of water situation. I also asked about the 3 boxes of Disney extra stuff I had. I was told that I could only check two bags per person and would have to carry on the water and the boxes. The boxes are my FE stuff and they are very light so they would not be a problem. I guess we won't be taking the water. He did offer me the option of ordering water on board for about $30 a case which I declined.

I just bought tickets to see the broadway version of Mary Poppins when it comes to Tampa at the end of May. Has anyone seen this show?
We saw Mary Poppins in London in 2008. The lead actress went to NY for the Broadway production.

very excited!! :woohoo:

That sounds great, can you please share where it's playing and where you bought tickets (i.e. Ticketmaster). This could be a great Mothers Day gift. Thanks for sharing.

I'm scouring my kitchen for boxtops. Haven't had to do this in a few years.

Does anyone have the address for sending boxes to the ship handy or the thread it is on. I didn't think I would be doing it but now I'm sending our books and candy for the crew ahead.

Mary Poppins will be at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia next season if anyone is interested.

Called DCL CC line just before they closed tonight. I needed some intel.

Thank you for the update

Anyone else having trouble sleeping at night?

Sleep, I hear that it is over rated:rotfl: Do we need more than 4 hours a night? :confused3

So it sounds to me like "Brack" Photography Company might be the best choice here ;). It could be simpler .... but I will defer to the group for that choice...

"Brack & company work for me

And??? Did you like it?

It's one of my favorite movies so it will be neat to see how it adapts to the stage.

Are you in Florida? If you're talking about the Tampa showing (the one I'm going to) you can get tickets from the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center

http://www.tbpac.org/shows/show.asp?showId=2313

Just a note, the orchestra level tickets are much cheaper before May 30 - something about it being the season ticket holder week :confused3
It is also playing in Ft. Lauderdale

If you're not in Florida, it's showing in many other cities. Check here:

For Lynne & all other BareMinerals users, they make a lovely mineral sunscreen with an spf of 30. If you're not going to get your face wet, it's a nice sunscreen to use that is in mineral (i.e. powder) form.

check it out:
http://bareescentuals.com/bareMiner...creen,default,pd.html?start=1&cgid=BM_PROTECT

It has some color to it. If you don't want any color, Peter Thomas Roth also makes a mineral sunscreen that goes up to spf 45. I believe you can find it at Sephora and Ulta.

That is excellent! I have worked in medical skincare for 6 years and have always loved Colorescience mineral sunblock. It is made by the same founder of Bareescentuals. She left that company and went on to make Colorescience. This is much more affordable though. Excellent. I will now recommend this to my clients as well. BTW, Colorescience sunblock is waterproof so I wouldn't be surprised if Bare minerals are to.
:thumbsup2

See Krisann's post #9 on page 1.

Like you, I've quit using makeup unless it is a "special occasion". I also use the Bare Minerals - when I use anything.

Thank you to everybody who offered to help out in our "mission to win"!!!!

I didn't know you could pre-pay gratuities. This is great - we usually pre-pay b/c it makes it easier. Can you just call the regular DCL number for this? How does it work?

Just call the 800 # 800-951-3532 I just bought some OBC...enough for a drink of the day and a specialty coffee at Cove Cafe..one per day plus tip! :thumbsup2 That will take a little of the shell shock from my final bill.

hmmmmmm. maybe I should call back and add the amount I expect to spend at Palo and at least one visit to the Rainforest room too. :scratchin

I'm prepping for the crossing by creating an ocean in my backyard! I really wish the rain would stop! I pumped about a foot of water off the pool cover over the weekend and it looks like I will need to pump another foot off this upcoming weekend. I hope it rains less here in April, or I might come back to moat around my house.

I feel your pain Melissa ....I am 6 houses off the RI line and they are in a State of Emergency. One of only two ways to get to my house is closed already. I posted earlier today that I just DON'T have time for this.
Let's hope for sun in the Atlantic. :goodvibes:

I think I remember reading something about the fact that you should not run or jog on deck, maybe several hundred pages back, and I can't remember why...was it something to do with the instability of a rocking boat, potential for injury, etc?? Is there a treadmill in the gym, and if so, is it safe to run on that? Thanks in advance for your replies....see you all soon!!:)

News to me.

On a Panama Canal cruise, CD Brent organized a morning walk/jog/run on sea days.

People run on Deck 4 and Deck 10 any time. The ship does rock that much ever. :confused3
