...Lynne, any word on Bunco?
Waiting for that email notification that should come 1-2 weeks pre-cruise. Isn't that any day now?
...Lynne, any word on Bunco?
And Woody; what the heck is japodog or robodog, or whatever the reference was to in Vancouver? Enquiring minds want to know. Thanks,
Ann

My heart is so heavy tonight. Just found out that a friend of my son's (not a close friend but someone he played with on and off and went to school with when in public school) died. He was 11 or 12 and his older sister is also friends with my daughter. Everyone is in shock. He had some type of accident while racing motorcross yesterday - details are sketchy. Give your children an extra hug tonight - you never know what each day brings. My prayers go out to Luke's entire family.

...I've had so much fun already, planning SM gifts, prepping FE's, making magnets, reading these boards...
DISboards?

Great to see we have some more europeans joining us. When I told my DD Amelie (2) that there was another Amelie joining us, she looked a little confused. Finally she said 'I'm Amelie, other little girl -Not Amelie'. I told her that 'Not Amelie' was older and had more right to be called that than her. She looked at me and said OK I'm 'Not Amelie' then. Oh the joy of simple thought!!![]()

Oh, I'm so sorry. That has to be so hard for your kids as well. I just put DS18 on a bus back to Santa Cruz after spring break & I just texted him to make sure he was okay....can't hug, but thanks for the reminder.

That is really cute!! We put our names on the master list yesterday and had a peek at where people were from and saw your daughters name and thought that was neat. I love seeing where all the people are from. I am originally from Ottawa, Canada (my husband is German and we live in Germany now) and I was getting excited to see that there will be others from Canada there as well!
Also wanted to say thanks for the nice welcome wishes! This forum is becoming very addictive as we love to see what everyone has to say about cruising and what not as this is our first cruise ever. I only hope I can control myself and that we can get our packing done in the next days![]()
Where in Germany are you from? DH and I are leaving the ship a day early to hop a plane to Munich so we can the go down and see Neuschwanstein.
I lived in Argentina for 18 months, in Mendoza, San Juan, and Cordoba. What part is your Dad from?
My parents live in Olivos - in the Provincia de Buenos Aires. About 1/2 hr away from the city center via train.
And Woody; what the heck is japodog or robodog, or whatever the reference was to in Vancouver? Enquiring minds want to know. Thanks,

Hi everyone, I have been reading posts for several months, but did not post due to a snowblower accident with my hand (not major slipped and it fell on my hand. Thank God every day for rubber blades, still have my fingers). Just wanted to say thank you for all the information and setting my mind at ease for my first transalantic cruise. My daughter and her friend are joining me and we are excited with all the information provided. It is nice to know there will be things I can do without them. I have signed us up on the master list and cannot wait to meet everyone. Just getting my finger strength back through therapy, so I probably will not post much, but I feel like everyone else, this information is priceless and made my trip planning so easy. Looking forward to the 10th!!!
Well considering I don't drink it would be saying something! Some are trying to pretend I am not going on vacation and not giving me what I need and others are realizing that I am going and are dumping tons of stuff on me to get done. The piles on my desk get larger each day!!!![]()
, and the miles away from the piles will pass under the keel.
