I made this journal for Brooklyn for the trip.

If you would like to use these please note that it is made to be printed back 2 back. So basically print odds then load the printer again and print evens.

It is made to fit in a 5.5 x 8.5 binder. Here is a link to the binders but they can be bought at Staples... binder

It can also be bound in many other ways too.

If you would like the original PDF to be emailed to ensure proper printing instead of printing through google docs just send me a PM.

Brooklyn--These journals are just incredible!!!!! What program do you use. I am soooooo envious. I used to be able to do great stuff on Pagemaker and PhotoShop but now I am retired I haven't spent the money on high-end programs. I can't believe what you all are doing out there. I am glad I didn't try to enter the door decorating contest. I would have been embarassed. Thanks again! Karen
PS I was skimming another thread and came across your beautiful daughters in one of you posts and thought I know who they are. Of course, I don't and then realized you had be posting there.:laughing::rotfl:

As I like to travel, I keep whatever money I have left and do not change it back into dollars. I had 40 Euros left from my last trip, about 7 pounds sterling and 5 NZ dollars. I just pack it away and if I go back to that country, I have a bit to start with.

Kristi

Good idea!! After making a few calls and checking prices on-line I called my daughter and asked her if she happened to have any euros since she had been to Germany last year for a conference. Low and behold she had a 5 euro bill and 10+ euros in various change. I couldn't ask for better.:woohoo: And she had two friends who just got back from this year's conference in her office so I bought another 55euros. No extra charges, saved me $20 maybe.

Anybody know the keystrokes for euros?

Krisann -- I was making the fixes on the live spreadsheet. If you have an offline version that's fixed by all means email it to me -- I have Excel.

THANKS FOR BEING A SUPER PERSON!!!!!!

I, too, love the cream of mango and papaya soup in Parrot Cay! It is my most favorite. Did you know that you can get something they're serving in PC when you're in any other restaurant? At least that's what I've heard. You can get anything they serve in another restaurant if you want it. I'm going to try getting the mango soup 3 times! :rotfl:

...now is that your deadline to quit tweaking them ...Krisann

I'm done tweaking ... 12 days to get ready ... you've seen my NOPE! list of things done.

I am actually printing, laminating, cutting the name tags & inserting them in the badge holders right now.

I think this captures the look of the logo and the spirit of classical nautical style. I'm just making everyone's associated user name the same, as the white background doesn't lend itself to the distinguishing color (it's not appreciably different red or blue).

Bottom line, I feel good about the name tags being scrapbook quality.

Lynne,

You're the best! You've done an awesome job, and two weeks from today we will be onboard, proudly wearing our wonderful lanyards.

So Carla saw this sign she forgot to get when she went down to Portland a couple of weeks ago: "No Pirates, Wenches Only!" Since she's still regretting not getting it, I thought I'd make her one. What do you think?

The information that was messed up is the MASTER sheet, so everyone needs to fix it. I appreciate your help tremendously, guys! Thanks a million!

Someone already fixed mine for me. Thank You:flower3:

Yes, thank you to all the fixers :thumbsup2

Stephanie,

I thank you (and I'm sure others will too!) for handling the DIS message board.

Woody

Another thank you to Stephanie, and Lynne and Krisann and to everyone else that has been working hard for all of us :flower3::flower3::flower3: This is going to be a great cruise :goodvibes

Back from errands. Ordered Euros and GB Pounds at my bank, bought some new cosmetics, had lunch with my sister (who lives 2 miles away and I haven't seen in three weeks!), picked up some supplies from the pharmacy and bought new socks! Walmart didn't have luggage locks, so I'll have to keep looking for those. Now it's time for a nap!

.

Ahhh...but did you get your taxes done :confused3 ;)

Thank you! I actually just created that in Publisher. I use Photoshop and Illustrator too but still love Publisher. That is too funny about seeing the girls photos on another thread!

kileybeth, contrary to what other have said, you CAN use Euros in Ireland. Dublin is part of the Republic of Ireland and is NOT technically part of the UK. Northern Ireland is part of the UK and I belive they use pounds. I've been ti Irland twice with the last time being about 6 months ago and I was in Republic of Ireland (stayed in a coastal town just outside of Dublin). Hope this helps clerify the confusion.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I KNEW my husband had traveled for buisness in Dublin and I specifically remembered him using Euros! Having never been "across the pond" and my out of country experiences limited to to Disney's 7 nite western Carribean itinerary and a few foreys into Canada I freely admit to having no personal knowledge or information stored up in my brain files:headache: but oh my word I was sinking fast in this money discussion earlier today! and no time to google anything up! Did have to get the whole Republic of Irland vs Northern Ireland discussion in there too:eek:

My world travling son and my husband have both now tried to fill my head with appropriate knowledge of foriegn currencies. I think I scored at least a C+ on the oral exam:rotfl: I do admit to feeling like I was drinking out of the fire hose tho! :rotfl:

Can I please now just go back to talking about sitting on Deck 4 with a good book and a nice breeze? :cloud9:

Does anybody now where exactly the laundry rooms are located???

Lynne: Although we aren't lanyard wearers, having a nametag for Anne and for Frank might still be fun. We like w/Donald. Thank you. :hippie:

Aft on Deck 2; I think on Deck 6 and 7 too. Anyway, definitely aft and on the left, is that port? Before you get to the aft elevators.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Your very welcome. If your already "drinking" out of a firehose, then you will be primed and ready for the pubs in Dublin. I saved my first Guiness for my 21st birthday which I spend in Dublin (many many years ago, not my most recent trip).

I guess I better start thinking about packing. See you in 13 days!!!
