Hi Everyone.... We are the Freidy family are are VERY excited to be joining you on the Bound for Barcelona Transatlantic Disney Cruise (wow! I got chills just typing that) This is our family's first cruise ever! We are so ecstatic we can hardly stand it. Everyone I've talked to has said that Disney Cruises are the Best! We have the Disney count down calendar thanks to the Disboard and all the great information you guys post..... Thanks! I also want to give a little shout out to my Disfriend Michelle 2 for making our Disney Dream Vacation come true! You Rock girlfriend!

If you would like to use these please note that it is made to be printed back 2 back. So basically print odds then load the printer again and print evens.

It is made to fit in a 5.5 x 8.5 binder. Here is a link to the binders but they can be bought at Staples... binder

It can also be bound in many other ways too.

Great idea, I have been doing a journal with DS this year and would love to do one with him to bring back to school as well as have to go back and read.

Back from errands. Ordered Euros and GB Pounds at my bank, bought some new cosmetics, had lunch with my sister (who lives 2 miles away and I haven't seen in three weeks!), picked up some supplies from the pharmacy and bought new socks! Walmart didn't have luggage locks, so I'll have to keep looking for those. Now it's time for a nap!

We need to manually fix the Master Locator sheet. I don't know who did what to it, but we have to manually clean it up. I started, but I need help. Basically, if everyone retypes their info in the right column, and the deletes everything but their DIS name from the first cell in their line, we can fix it quickly. Pretty Please???

Everything looked fine when I just went there. I didn't have to fix anything.

But WAIT! Aren't Gilbralter Pounds unique to Gilbralter alone? Can't use those in London right? Just regular old pounds or Euros there right?

I refuse to leave the airport on our Dublin, Ireland layover and I WILL charge everything there or WAIT! I should use up my Euros there????

yeah, DH is upstairs doing 3 sets of taxes and I'm down here trying to figure out foreign currancy exchange.

Can I please just get on this SHIP and be gone already??!!

As I like to travel, I keep whatever money I have left and do not change it back into dollars. I had 40 Euros left from my last trip, about 7 pounds sterling and 5 NZ dollars. I just pack it away and if I go back to that country, I have a bit to start with.

kileybeth, contrary to what other have said, you CAN use Euros in Ireland. Dublin is part of the Republic of Ireland and is NOT technically part of the UK. Northern Ireland is part of the UK and I belive they use pounds. I've been ti Irland twice with the last time being about 6 months ago and I was in Republic of Ireland (stayed in a coastal town just outside of Dublin). Hope this helps clerify the confusion.

Go away for a day and I have so many pages to catch up on. Two weeks from yesterday I'll be at CIS at the meet and greet. Two weeks from today, I'll have finished (or nearly) my first dinner on the cruise and will be getting ready for the evening activities.

Argh, I can't wait to know what dining rotation. I am so looking forward to an appitizer at AP.

Me: the tagglio (cheese) flatbread app at AP, the potato soup on embarkation day (yum), choc. strawberries whenever I can find them, and the creme brulee.

Ok sounds great. There will be large Dry Erase Board placed on Stateroom #7542. It is Starboard Side, Outside of Midship Elevators on Deck 7. I will post pictures of what it will look like in the next few days.

If anyone has cabin changes, changes to events, news, etc just feel free to place it there. If you could date and time whatever you write that would be great. I will erase messages that are 2 days old if more space is needed.

Two weeks from right now we will be sailing to CASTAWAY!!!

I think this will be a wonderful thing - thanks for doing it!

My only concern is that I am not sure I can get by that room - it is so FARRRRR away from my cabin (JK - see I am in 7538 for those that don't know)

Thank you to you and the wise person - think that is a great idea - now is that your deadline to quit tweaking them (they are great already!) also? LOL - Thanks for doing this!

I have 2 things - one I love the banana and pineapple with coconut on pirate night (I will eat 2 or 3 of them!) and the after dinner drink at Palo - have to figure out if I can get that anywhere else on board!

Can you add the information on where you find the Choc. strawberries to the BB on deck 7 that is a very important thing others would like to know too I am sure!

In two weeks we'll be at sea--and I'll be eating dinner. Speaking of eating, does Disney serve lovely cold fruit soups? They're one of my favorite cruise foods. It's like having a secret desert at the beginning of a meal.

I LOVE the tuna tartar appetizer at Animator's Palate. I went to one of the Art Of Entertaining seminars where the chef made this and discovered I CAN eat raw fish! I will order two!

Ahhhh.....cold soup....this is a catagory where Disney EXCELS. Love the mango soup, the strawberry soup (don't remember that being offered last cruise, but I bet we'll get it with our extended menus) and there is also a watermelon and something soup I've yet to try. I pretty much love all their soups both hot and cold (butternut squash being way at the top of the list).

I second the good gurl....I have yet to gloat that my taxes were done second week of Feb. This is NOT my norm.

The chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered strawberries sound good too. This is only my second cruise and the last one was in 2006 so I don't really remember a lot about the food.

Thank you for the SM information and also thanks to the people that stepped up to take charge of some of the activities.
Started some packing today and I have one suitcase full already and a long list of things yet to pack which I don't think will fit in just another suitcase. I guess I am going to have to rethink and re pack. there is no way I am paying $200 for a third suitcase.
