After all that talk about CC, I'm really in the mood; these just add to the anticipated enjoyment for me:

I think I am really really tired from the hospital stay last night - when I read that I first thought you were saying brothal - I just could not read it right - and it had me puzzled - then I focussed a little more and read it correctly.

sorry :)

Krisann
Auntlynne has an eye :lmao:chart for that. See above.

Castaway Cay - entrance to Serenity Bay. The tram pulls up - this is what you see. Lunch is on the left - walk out onto the sand for the beach. Ta dah!

You can spy the tram on the left. Looks like a winter sky.

A nice aerial view of Port Canaveral.
We approach from the bottom right of the photo (yes, we are that small), over the bridge, moving left (north), make a U-turn to return to the Disney Terminal (you are writing this down, aren't you? or were you relying on the navigational skills of the DCL bus driver?) That building with the round windowed area is our dedicated cruise terminal - no mixing it up with the Carnival or RCCL crowd (both ships shown here). We go through security - x-ray, then up the escalator to the main hall.

They used DCL buses to transport us to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the nighttime function at my brother's convention earlier this month. He thought they looked wonderful; how could I but agree? Okay, now stand over by the bus:

Anyone feel like singing a Zac Brown Band song? :cloud9:

Great pics Brack :thumbsup2

I took two of my little sisters to see Alice in Wonderland today. I really liked it and am hoping they have it in 3D on the ship(even though it doesn't look that way) although if my aunt wanted to see it I'd go again even in 2D.

Got some really cute silver high heels the other day at Macy's I'm looking forward to wearing them with some of my dresses princess:

Just a few more weeks :yay:

A few days (and about 10 pages ago), it was discovered that Joius24 (who lives in Lancater County, PA area), would be traveling to the Philadelphia area (this most recent weekend, March 20-21). Interesting enough, SDLong329 lives just outside of Philadelphia.

Conversely, SDLong329 (who lives ust outside of Philadelphia) would be traveling to Lancaster County, PA over this past weekend (March 20 & 21). Accordingly, each of us would be making a 75-90 minute journey (each way) to each other's general home destination. Sounds interesting - eh?

Okay ... so here's what Steven & DW Donna did in Lancaster County ...
1) Took DW Donna's sister with us, to visit old friends
2) "Friends" own a few homemade ice cream & homemade Italian ice stores ... which opened this past weekend for the season.
3) While in the area, Steven met up with a fellow "car club member & friend", and took the opportunity to swap some car parts, and talked a bit over ice cream (Steven's treat).
4) DW Donna also took the opportunity to "treat" her sister to all of the sinfully delicious ice cream and Italian ice her sister craved.
5) Later that day, the entire MOB (about 9 of us) went to a local place to catch a bit of dinner, before we made the trek home.
... all in all ... a great time was had by all!

Okay ... so here's what Joius24 got involved with in Philadelphia ...
1) Plans to visit various local exhibits ... including the world famous SOUTH STREET
2) Local (Philadelphia) news showed an UNRULY "flashmob" showed up on South Street ... swarming the area with such force, shop owners were forced to close and barricade their stores.
3) Philadelphia Police called in extra forces, to come down hard on the unrily thugs ... making various arrests ... getting hand-cuffed in plastic zip-tie handcuffs, as they were being hauled away in paddy-wagons.
4) Police later disclosed, the flashmob had been arranged via social networking sites, incouding Twitter, Facebook, and DISboards.

... and many of you thought *I* was trouble ... I'm just sayin'! :rolleyes1

Although I did not see Joius24 in any of the Police footage, I am not 100% positive as to whether or not she was hauled away (I will check for mug-shots in the local Post Office). If necessary, I will bail her out of jail, in hopes that she may still be able to join us for the cruise. However, if bail is not possible, I understand her stateroom MAY be available as an upgrade, if not claimed by 1:00PM on day of debarkation.
:scared1: pirate: popcorn:: :rolleyes1  :happytv:

Film at 11:00PM (literally) ... ABC, CBS & NBC! :sad2:

CRUISE DOCUMENTS

I was :surfweb: working on my Online Check-In and came across the Disney Cruise Line Contract and remembered that the last time I cruised (October 2008), I thought i would save paper and print this front & back.

But NO! The CM checking me in had to go and make a copy so that it was only on the front of pages.

You might want to save a step and a minute or two at the port and print the 2 pages of your Disney Cruise Line Contract on separate sheets.

Years ago, OK decades ago, when I was just out of school and a social worker in South Philly, South Street could be a scary place. Sounds like it has come full circle. But DISboarders? Where did they get that? Heaven help us! Poor joius. South Street can (or used to) be fun. But it has been the haunt of young people forever--and they can get unruly--especially on the first warm weekend of spring. There are still lots of wonderful things to do in Philly--like go to the dentist as I did last week. (I love my dentist and have been with him 43 years now. His son did my root canal and crown.)

Lancaster County is quite different--peaceful, "old fashioned" and more to my liking these days. Love the PA Dutch atmosphere and the FOOD. I may find a need to "cruise" on up that way next weekend. And this summer should be just about right for the grandkids first visit to Dutch Wonderland.

Joius, hope you found ways to enjoy your weekend in Philly. I still love to visit the historical spots.

Krisann. How's Aaron? And how are the rest of you?

Hope we'll all be able to decompress a bit in three weeks.

Thanks for the heads up. I printed mine on colored paper so they'd be easier to find at the port. Do you think I should reprint on white?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
OMG ! She has has escaped all injury and jailtime to cruise on the Disney Magic Again! and YES Terry ...she used her cougarness to make herself blend in with the surroundings ....and escape safely :scared1:

Seriously folks...thats why we went to Pats Steaks (off south street) ....there was this creepy uneasy rowdy feeling that made us leave South Street not to long after we arrived there. We totally missed all the police action/flash mob by about an hour...PHEW.

Now.... police are still not sure...but a suspect was named who may have started the facebook, twitter, disboard campaign.... a well known trouble maker who stirs the pot and quietly points the other way.... SDlong!:rolleyes1 Check the 11 PM news for more info :cool1::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yes!!!!
