For the laundry sheets, some reported them not getting stains out, I believe, so maybe need a little pre-treater too if stained?

I have had the understanding for the past couple of years that if you are wearing open toe shoes then you don't wear hose.

Is this your understanding too?

The shoes I am bringing are somewhat open toe. If I can get away with no hose - I'd gladly not bring them. What are your opinions? What about formal and Palo night? Would I really stand out if I'm not wearing hose?

I hate hose and think they are the work of MEN (probably Steve and Terry ) who don't have to wear them.

Just a reminder that everyone has a right to their opinion and you will not hurt my feelings if you tell me I'm a freak if I don't wear hose.

6AM to go to WDW but then our room wasn't ready and I ended up sleeping on the loungers next to the Wilderness Lodge pool and Old Faithful kept going off every hour and sprinkled me with cold water.

Packing is coming along and will do my online registration today. My mom got her cubes yesterday and mine should be arriving Monday. Can't wait to try them. I see that it's warm in Orlando today. I am praying for sunshine at Castaway Cay.

Ya know, I've come to believe this is sort of a regional thing, lol, but in my 'neck of the woods' it's NO hose at all.... unless they are colored tights (black mostly) and even then, it's only if you match the shoe color!

Works for me!! I don't like hose either!!!!



...But I will be bringing some sheer black hose for formal....closer to summer, I would shed those too, but my legs are the color of chalk right now...!!

Not on this cruise but I am on the Med following.

Open toed shoes...personally, I like hose, and so I've been in search of CLOSED toed shoes. Your interpretation is correct...open toed means no hose. I can't stand seeing that little hose line in the foot when someone wears sandals or open toed heels...ruins the effect

I can't NOT wear hose, my legs are glow in the dark . It is amazingingly hard to find cute closed toed shoes in Spring. I did just spring for a pair of leopard prints that don't match my formal but I love them. If you see some crazy lady wearing leopard stillettos to the pool that will be me, getting as much use out of them as possible . Totally kidding.

Okay, what did I do now? DW Donna says no hose on open toe shoes - but only so that the hose seam does not show at the toe. BTW, Terry said he will be wearing hose with his princess gown.


I don't think there is a shoe requirement for Palo's (though I believe sneakers would be tacky).

As for opinions ... I have lots of opinions on HO's ... but I'd rather not get into that on a public forum!

Is there a reason why people decided not to use the sheets???? I just bought a package of the sheets from walmart, but I'm not sure if there was something bad about them that people didn't like.

I was worried about open toes at the cathedrals. I am going today to find comfortable closed toe cute flats for when we're running to catch the train in Cadiz.

I am organizing my WB PC cruise stuff because I get OCD like that before a trip...i digress...

and found these recipes:

Blue Margarita
1.5 oz 1800 Reposado
.5 oz Blue Curacao
.5 oz lime juice
2 oz sweet and sour mix

Cape Cod Margarita
1.5 oz 1800 Reposado
.5 oz Cointreau
1.5 oz Cranberry Juice
1.5 oz Sweet and Sour mix

Dh has made the blue margarita for me a few times at home. It's yummy!

You know, I really can't remember...at least five years. A pity too...I have GREAT legs! (well I used to anyway)

Thank you to everyone for all of you good thoughts and prayers for my cousin. I was planning to go up to Yale tonight to visit him, but when my brother called him, his wife and 4 little boys were there with him. I am hoping to see him tomorrow or Sunday, but I don't want to take away from his last hours with his babies. I just can't believe this is really happening to such a great man, husband and father.

This is one of my worst nightmares and fears, a parent being taken away from little kids too early. I am so sorry.
