I should have been a librarian. I love to read so much. I use to (when I was in high school) be one of the kids that would walk out of the library with 10-15 books at a time and bring them all back before their due date. All read.

I worked in the Library all through high school and loved it - loved being around all the books and being able to select what I wanted. I also volunteered at the local library during high school on Saturdays. I used to put papers for check out cards in my books and stamp them when someone "checked them out" - I used a rooster stamp - still have books with that stamped in it. Loved playing "library" and my house has more books than I know what to do with - and I keep buying more!

I always thought we cheered for our own team first, but if they don't make it to the next level in national competition, we root for another SEC team, even if it's Georgia, Florida or Alabama. Can't quite get behind those TN Volunteers, though.

Yes I went by the list - I did not put room numbers on mine as I have had them packed and ready since the list closed and was posted - I will use the final list in the mini nav to deliver.

I have 45 names and am missing room numbers for - Friends of Michelle and of course Princess Monkey. There were two names that are not on the list anymore.-Marren and Janell.carraso. Does anyone know about them. I too do not want to leave anyone out.

I hope everyone put their new cabin numbers on the list.They seem to change everyday.

I just changed my again. We still do not have our docs.

I know for sure Janell.carraso is still participating - she sent me her money for her lanyard participation.

I feel bad because I can't go in and edit the FE post on this new thread. I am at the mercy of people going in and editing their rooms themselves. I would totally go by the last post that I updated on the last thread, post #10.
If another thread starts before we leave, I will be sure and catch it on page 1. LOL

Michelle - just send me an email and I will go in and update it - tell me what needs to be updated or cut and paste the one there, fix it, and then email it to me and I will cut and paste. send it to kblair@christmasorganizing.com as my charter one is having issues it seems.

Since I need to use the correct cabin numbers, I'm relying on the spread sheet. I will take some extras for the ones on the first page--but without knowing correct updated cabin numbers, I won't be able to deliver them. I hope they update on the spread sheet before leaving!

I have also used the spreadsheet for FE1, and noted a difference in the number of participants between page 1 and the spreadsheet. We'll do our best with the information/cabin numbers provided but will not be able to make delivery to those without a listed stateroom number.

On a separate note, does the ship still have characters autograph things like T-shirts and picture mattes when dropped off at Guest Services at the start of the cruise? We did this before (with a Sharpie and candy for CMs) and the signatures were perfect.

Due to the economy, I have revamped my FE plans. I will now be bringing a few hundred self-adhesive labels ... indicating "FE GIFT from SDLong329". My plans are to make the rounds to all FE's every day ... see what has been left in the FE's ... then put MY tag on the gift ... making it look like it was left by me!

Never heard of phase 10. Looks like Uno, but quick google search says it involves more skill. Might have to get a copy to play with my parents before the cruise.

I have played Canasta a few times. We generally play "Hand and Foot" which is very similar to Canasta, but involves less skill (more luck). Usually easier to play hand and foot when you've indulged in a few beverages.

We also like dominoes, but we probably won't be packing our double twelves...too heavy. Need that room for my formal wear

It's been a while since DH and I have played Hand and Foot -but we LOVE playing it! Would be great to connect up and play a round with you at some point during the cruise. Let me know if you would like me to bring extra decks of cards!

How this for a quencadence....
The last Disney Cruise we went on was in 2005 and we booked a Navigator Veranda room and our travel agent selected room 7626 for us.
Disney upgraded us to Cat 7 and assigned us room 7626.
What are the chances of getting the exact same room with all of them to choose from...

Too Cool! I guessed what "quencadence" was ...but looked it up just in case (it was not in the word doc spellcheck dictionary or thesaurus)

Thanks for the comparison and the point about some people being more private....Krisann...thats the FE list I am going to follow (Post #10 on the first page of the thread), knowing I will get the rest of the room #'s on our Mini NAV...

I was hoping that the new slide at Castaway would be open for our visit and IT WAS OPEN FOR THE WONDER SAILING THAT GOT BACK TODAY! .

I am psyched about this slide Anything that will give me something extra to do in the water makes me happy....I get cold quickly if I am not moving around in ocean water (I prefer ocean when the temps are in the 90's and only go in for the sake of quality time with my DS if it is not)

Did I mention I'd like to leave NOW please !

Wow this thread moves lightening fast! Couple of busy days at work (where I couldn't even daydream about the cruise) and there's 30 pages to read!

Lauren, you and your family are in my thoughts during this difficult time!

SO excited about the slide at CC! I looooove water slides. I'm looking forward to that stop more and more. When we first booked the cruise, we were totally focused on the European ports. Now it's dawning on me that we get a day in the Bahamas too!

This is going to sound crazy, but I really want to enjoy every second of the anticipation for this cruise. We booked on day 1, and we've NEVER planned something that far out, ever.... not even our wedding! As excited as I am, I'm already dreading the post-vacation blues. (My DH is totally focused on planning our next vacation in December to ward them off...)

I've actually started packing already, which is also down-right weird for me but it seems like it's coming up so fast all of a sudden. We have one of the suitcases down by the washer and as I wash stuff we won't need, I throw it in.

Today I am heading to DC for a friend's baby shower, and my plan is to download Lonely Planet's guide to spain and start figuring out what the heck we're doing during my travel downtime today. Given the short attention span of our twins, we're thinking of doing the Hop On bus in both Cardiz and Barcelona. The only place we're leaning towards a DCL excursion is in Gibraltar.

I have not heard from them this week - I had put needed date as March 28th I think and I think it was going to be right about that date from when I was talking to them. There was a delay when they were trying to find the font and I had to send them a picture of the lanyard so the could find the font by sight (told them about the 1st Med lanyards and asked if that was the same but that did not help - may not be the same font) so that added about a week or so by the time they figured it out and got me a proof. But I talked to them the day the order was sent over to be produced so I know things are on track to be here in time!

The OFFICIAL LIST that is from Michelle (who headed this up) is on page 1 (message #8) of this thread. You will find I posted the list for Michelle so it would be on the first page as she was not available when we started this thread.


Many people have added their info to the spreadsheet (link can be found on page one also - post #2) as that is easy to sort for everyone BUT not everyone is on that list - feel free to go and add yourself to that list if you want but at this point that list is not complete and the OFFICIAL list is the list on the first page of this thread (post #8)

Ok because it was causing so much confusion I have went into the spread sheet and added the people in that had not put there info on their yet. You will find the add ins in BLUE - I copied and pasted the info for those people from the post on the first page of this thread with their numbers next to it. Please check the spread sheet if you are in FE #1 and see if your name is in blue - if it is, please fill in your info like everyone else's on the spread sheet (room number, ages, etc. - as much as you feel comfortable - or put "info furnished on cruise")


So now the spreadsheet matches the list on page 1 (post 8) of this thread BUT there is one name on the spread sheet that is not on the official list - The Friedly Family - can someone tell us if this person is one of the "friends of" or has someone accidently added themselves to the FE #1


Hope I did not step on any toes doing this. Just trying to help.
