I was hoping that the new slide at Castaway would be open for our visit and IT WAS OPEN FOR THE WONDER SAILING THAT GOT BACK TODAY!

I wonder what the height/age minimum will be? I was happy to read that he had a nice time on the Wonder. All those posts about people being disappointed in the Wonder had me nervous about getting a group together to go in her in 2011.

Really??? Awesome!!!

Although, I understand that 'friends of Michelle2' from page 1 = freidyfamily on the spreadsheets. And there are probably other clarifications as well contained on the spreadsheets.

I feel bad because I can't go in and edit the FE post on this new thread. I am at the mercy of people going in and editing their rooms themselves. I would totally go by the last post that I updated on the last thread, post #10.
If another thread starts before we leave, I will be sure and catch it on page 1. LOL

Since I need to use the correct cabin numbers, I'm relying on the spread sheet. I will take some extras for the ones on the first page--but without knowing correct updated cabin numbers, I won't be able to deliver them. I hope they update on the spread sheet before leaving!

I have 45 names and am missing room numbers for - Friends of Michelle and of course Princess Monkey. There were two names that are not on the list anymore.-Marren and Janell.carraso. Does anyone know about them. I too do not want to leave anyone out.

I hope everyone put their new cabin numbers on the list.They seem to change everyday.

I just changed my again. We still do not have our docs.

Yes stores are open on Good Friday and on Saturday as well. Some stores are closed on Easter Sunday.

If you're going to do a lot of shopping I would recommend hitting an outlet.
http://www.premiumoutlets.com - look and see if they have one near where you'll be in NY.

They will all be open on Good Friday and on Saturday. Easter Sunday is the only day where you might find things closed.

There's also an Old Navy, a Target, and good old-fashioned mall!

Thanks for the info, Im glad I asked! Here Good Friday is the holiday where everything is closed, business as usual Sat & Sun and Easter Monday some businesses are closed but most retail is open.

I just saw that on the regular boards. How awesome is it that it'll be open for us & we get to see the new Villains show.

What is the link to this thred? I'd love to read up on the slide....can an adult go down it or is it kids only like on the ship? I would live to go down the slide!

Will the internet access be available across the Atlantic and in Spain?

The internet will be available...at least it was on the EB Transatlantic back in 2007, but i was super super slow.....and pretty expensive. I was wanting to use it for son's school a little too, but don't know.

I got another call today from DCL and they upgraded us again! We are now in 7618 for both cruises!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. It still does not offset the cost but at least DCL is doing something for us.

I hope so too, and you are right, I don't have any of the updated cabin numbers since alot were GTY when the list closed....way before all of the upgrade bananza.
But the NUMBER of people participating is correct on the FE post. I also hope that everyone can go in and update their cabins before we leave. It is coming up so soon!!

How this for a quencadence....
The last Disney Cruise we went on was in 2005 and we booked a Navigator Veranda room and our travel agent selected room 7626 for us.

This cruise we booked a cat 11 with no room selection because it was an inside room. Disney upgraded us to Cat 7 and assigned us room 7626.

What are the chances of getting the exact same room with all of them to choose from...

This may have already been answered, however the Disney website is just showing verandah rooms available. I checked out the t/a that I booked with and they were not showing the cruise available at all. Could the ship be filling up? Is this just something that the cruise line does as departure date gets closer? I was just curious.

That's all I've been doing for the past 6 weeks!!!! Luckily I have a lot of downtime between customers ...maybe tomorrow I'll tackle my taxes !


Question: I have booked a private tour in Madeira and I wanted to ask all of you the proper amount to tip for the private tour. Would it be 20% as we might in the States? I just don't want to leave the driver unsatisfied nor do i want to grossly overpay ( although that would be better than under tipping ). Any thoughts ?? It would be for 2 Adults/ 1 child - 5-6 hrs, 105 Euros.

I always thought we cheered for our own team first, but if they don't make it to the next level in national competition, we root for another SEC team, even if it's Georgia, Florida or Alabama. Can't quite get behind those TN Volunteers, though.

I'm curious too. As I posted earlier, when I go to my reservation I am asked if I want to upgrade to a deluxe oceanview for $70 per person per day ($1960). On the modify page, I was offered a deluxe stateroom with veranda for $50/person/day ($1400). When I went back the cat8 was $62.86/person/day ($1760) and then the veranda was $57.16/person/day ($1600). If I keep going back to the site is the price going to keep going down?

I also went in to see if what they were still selling for the TA. No more inside staterooms but cat9-5 were available (around 2PM Thurs.) I don't know what is going on....Maybe this is normal????

Due to the economy, I have revamped my FE plans. I will now be bringing a few hundred self-adhesive labels ... indicating "FE GIFT from SDLong329". My plans are to make the rounds to all FE's every day ... see what has been left in the FE's ... then put MY tag on the gift ... making it look like it was left by me!
