I was just talking to my brother and he told me that my dad told him all he really wants to see in Spain is a BULL FIGHT! He said he doen't want to see old buildings, etc... Meanwhile I have the 5 of us booked on a $95 tour of Barcelona! I wish I would have known this sooner-- or that he would have told this to ME! So, is there a Disney excursion to see a Bull fight in Barcelona that I could switch the 5 of us to at this last possible moment???

I found a bull fight on the 25th only - http://www.spainticketbureau.com/en...ullfights-in-Barcelona/46/Acontecimiento.aspx

You can always say you tried, but there are none scheduled ;)

Ahh... Desmond. "See you in another life, brother." Glad we didn't miss his episode while cruising.

But Disney owns ABC - I want my episodes while at Sea. I might even make it back to the ship from Seville in time to catch it.

I'll also miss Amazing Race & Survivor. And always Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. That's my Must See List.

Ah it was a GREAT episode. I am with you all, need, want, have to have LOST while at sea. :dance3::dance3:

Lynne--sent you a PM.

Stephanie and I decided the other day that we are both in danger of serious Cowboys withdrawal if we don't watch The Amazing Race for 2 weeks in a row. Oh My Gravy!

I took mine to Staples and they printed it in minutes. (Much better than my old color printer would have and it conly cost about $7 to print and bind.)

wooo-that sounds like a good idea...would've cost around that much anyway for me to purchase a new journal + all the time/pressure vested in trying to figure my printing issues...thanks

I agree!! :lmao: Thank goodness I have a DVR.

LOST - I would think that since ABC is a Disney company & knowing that it's the last season & the popularity of the show, that DCL would find SOME way to show it.....maybe on the Dumbotron? :confused3

HaHa, get to see lots of neat stuff when you are a traveler. I usually only go for a month at a time and have been home for six months and totally missing it. Pay is not great because I spend whatever I am making there having fun, exploring. But usually I'm lucky and able to take a kid or two. Been great for them. We shall have to "do lunch" on the cruise :)

You want stories? I've got stories. Seriously, I'd love to come talk medical travel!

So stayed up until 1am but finally have most of the stuff in the suitcases. Three suitcases for 2 of us. Yikes. But did not want to be cold. Three magnets printed, trimmed and in the suitcase. Three more to go. Another couple of late nights for me. Man I wish I drank coffee:laughing: Things are finally starting to come together at work so hopefully I can leave here without worries.

NO WORRYS MON. We are leaving and remember with this group (many boy scouts) some should be able to cover just about anything------for all else there is VISA

THAT is good advice!

Yeah, he has done that forever... in the winter for fear of pipes freezing & any other time for that "random" breakage! I do have someone coming over daily for the cats-- I just leave a couple of gallons of water on the counter for her (and remind her NOT to use the bathroom while she is here! :scared1:)

BEEP BEEP BEEP YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!

Hi all having a great time in Orlando at the moment, the weather is great in the mid 80s. We are currently getting ready to visit Universal Studios once the wife pulls herself away from pool. We were at Aquatica yesterday very busy and very hot i now look like a tomato. I was just wondering if anyone new if you could carry a cooler box onto the ship as we have been using one since saturday. I no this question has prob already been asked but it was to save me looking back.

I love them. I am rooting for them to win. I was kind of sad to see the father daughter team leave this week though.

Sooooo Excited!!!!

It just kinda hit me this morning. I am mid-pack in three rooms right now. I think I have it pretty well figured out. I am not sure about the weather, which is making it harder for me to pack light. I hate being cold - we did one early spring trip to Europe many years ago and I froze (it was a unually cold and rainy spring) and eventually got sick and just refused to leave the hotel.

The dress clothes are killing me - we usually don't do anything dressy when we travel. It means at least one extra pair of shoes for the grown-ups. Auggh.

I am so looking forward to childcare and hot tubs!

Speaking of which, I did not reserve much time at Flounder's for my 3 year old (who I was hoping would be done with potty training, but isn't). Does anyone know if I have to make reservations well in advance, or can do it just a day or so out? There was plenty of time on the schedule still available. I just don't know what our ship-board schedule will be like well enough to guess when I will want him to go to the nursery.

I reserved a few times on line for my 23 month old DD and figured I could add times once I know if she's not going to be able to sit thru dinner etc...But like you I'm looking forward to some child care and a glass of wine.

Absolutely, the more the merrier and I've never been to Thailand but been asked to go so I'm very curious.

Currently considering a 3 week in Kuala Lumpur and heard they are doing some neat stuff there.

Do you all see the news story that Spirit Airlines starting in August is going to start charging $45 for your carryon unless you can put it under your seat!!!:scared1: This is in addition to your checked luggage fee. Well I won't be flying with them that is for sure

I put all of the days of the cruise + our post days in Madrid into a spreadsheet & now I can pencil in my outfit & shoes for each day...I know it seems excessive but its really the only way I can figure out to keep track of the clothes! I've marked what's going on each day - like Pirate Night or port day - so that should help me decide what to bring.

God bless you all who are packing for 2, 3, 4, 5.....:worship:

I'm in Junior League too! :cutie:
The most work I have left is stuff for our 2010 holiday market. We're nailing a lot down this week so it's a bit of a crunch for all of the committee members right now.

I was able to conf call in for my meeting (and packed in the process). I think they are giving me a break and being nice to me this year (placement committee) since I have been fundraising chair for 2 years and next year I will be on the board.
Do you have a holiday market in Dec? We found we weren't getting enough donations for it so just moved to doing really big fundraiser with big donations and make a ton of money with the same amount of work. Happy to share some JL ideas while we are away together.

 Sorry, I just had to jump in and say "That is c**p"!!! If the airlines REALLY want to all go out of business, this is the way to do it!

Sayhello
