Bound For AKL!!!

We finally head to WDW tonight after son's last baseball game. We leave at midnight for our 15 hour drive to AKL. We'll be tired when we arrive but glad to be there. It's our first time staying at the AKL. We are very excited about being at this resort. Stayed at value and moderate before never at a deluxe.
Looking forward to the experience and a Disney vacation.

Just returned from 5 nights at AKL - we loved it there. We recently stayed at the Poly and while the convenience of the monorail is nice, the quality of the rooms, grounds and CM's at AKL make a big difference. We loved the theming, and the big fire with the rocking chairs all around makes a nice resting area after a long day at the parks. The pool is fun too, with a cool slide for the kids.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Bus service was a little slow but nothing to complain about too much. One night after Wishes we had to wait 25 mins for a bus back to the resort. Why don't they have them lined up and waiting at MK since they know there's a huge letout after the fireworks? Anyhoo, not enough to spoil out time.
