Bouncing on Bounce Backs (Update Pg 20 post 299)

Looks like my countdowns are at:

80 for August

108 for September

178 for December

I am hungry, so I am thinking about ADRs debating if I want to try everything new, or just add a new one here or there??

I know we will want to eat at the Pepper Market for fajitas and then Cafe Rix for gelato.

DH will want The Plaza Restaurant.

I could really go for onion rings with dips at the Turf Club!! But only Anakin likes eating there. Goofy and Grumpy don't care for there at all.

We haven't eaten at Ohana since 2006-ish.

Anakin wants to do a character meal, but he wants Star Wars characters and there is no meal with them, lol. So he asked if there is a meal with Rapunzel? He doesn't want a character that doesn't talk, he thinks that is weird, because he doesn't understand their hands or bobbing heads. So where does that leave me?

How about 1900 Park Fair with Cinderella and Prince Charming in the p.m. or Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter in the a.m.?

Oh yeah! That's a good one! Too bad it's not the other way around on the characters. I like dinner buffets better than breakfast, but I think he would like the Mad Hatter and Alice better than Cinderella and her prince. I was trying to talk him into Chef Mickey since we never ate there. And that's how we got into the conversation about not understanding them.

Oh....and if I added write, we are down to 107 days. :)

Hurray!! I hope we can meet up at some time! Which day was your EoS at 5?

I got 2 ADRs made for August!!

Third times the charm for Le Cellier, I hope!!!! Twice I had to cancel ADRs. I've always wanted to eat here.

Now for the important questions for those who have eaten here before. Are there any types of stimulation I need to be aware of for Anakin. Is it dark in there? Are candles on the table? Is it loud? Are tables close together? Anything else I need to know for him?

For Grumpy, I made an ADR for breakfast at the Captain's Grille, his favorite!!

Hi I have a Big question!!!
I really want to take up any great offer Disney has if their is a bounce back when we go on our 1ST Adult only holiday so i can take the kids a few months after (the guilt will kill me )
Any Congrats on the 3 holidays very Jealous!

That's funny. I keep telling my kids I'm going to DW without them. I am a mean mommy.

Yes, it is dark (think wine cellar); there are candles on a fireplace, but I don't recall them being on the tables themselves. The tables are pretty darn close (but NOT on top of each other).

And as for your other question, I believe it is Saturday, September 24, that we will be at Earl of Sandwich.

I'll have to check it out beforehand, I guess.

Would you be up to meeting us at EoS or DTD? That is during our stay at POR. Of course, it would have to be a tentative arrangement, because it would all depend on how Anakin is doing that day. I know you have so many meets then, maybe you and Mark need some alone time too?

It has been years since we went to MNSSHP. It was years ago and we went with littlebelle1997 and her dh. Anakin was a baby and slept through the whole thing (up until the Grave diggers in the parade), Grumpy enjoyed it and got a sugar high, and Goofy had to work so he didn't go with us. Goofy's last MNSSHP was in 2003 when I was pregnant with Anakin. And I don't think they had the gravedigger part of the Halloween parade then.

I am giving MNSSHP serious consideration for our Sept trip!

The Pros:

-We won't have to drive all the way home since we are staying on site!!
-We've loved it in past years!

The Cons:
-the expense
-Anakin's fear of fireworks (but now we have ear muffs)
-Anakin can't eat candy, Grumpy is allergic to many candies

Should we get MNSSHP tickets or not?

Do you think with crowd levels expected to be a 1 that day, that we could get tickets at the door?

We can play it by ear meeting up at Earl of Sandwich, depending on how Anakin is doing that day.

The Hallowishes fireworks are the BEST! As long as you have the earmuffs, I think Anakin would be fine. Unless you are LOOKING for the trick or treat lines, you really don't see them passing out the candy too much. We did our first MNSSHP last year and fell in love with it. The parade itself is worth admission; and where else can you get a picture with all seven dwarfs? We bought our tickets the day before the party last year (I believe that Hallwoeen night is the only one that sells out ahead of time).

I know the parade is awesome. I know DH would love it! He loves POTC and HM and they both are represented amazingly in that parade!! Anakin loves NBC and there is plenty of that music at the party too!

Amazing pic with the dwarfs!! We saw all 7 only once at Epcot one January, years ago. Might have been 2002. Curse my desk top for crashing, and me not saving most of the pics to another source!!

Perhaps, I'll saw the party was meant to be if we can get a last minute ticket. I will have to check though, if that is a passholder discount day. I think the passholder tickets discounted tickets have to be purchased in advance??

I am beginning to make some progress for August...the room is booked and I got 2 ADRs!!

My mouth is already watering for breakfast at the Captain's Grille. This may be becoming a new family Disney tradition, eating breakfast on check-in day at the Captain's Grille! We all love the food. I particularly like the eggs benedict! But I get the buffet instead of getting it off the menu. There are so many good samplings on that buffet. Here, see for yourself...

The fruit is my first stop!! The pineapple reminds me of eating pineapple at Castaway Cay!!

The little parfait cups use to be disgusting, but they switched to apple flavored and it was pretty good.

Next up, the casseroles and eggs benedict!

Bacon is Anakin's favorite and one of Grumpy's favs!

100_2320.jpg

Grumpy's very favorite is the biscuit and gravy!

100_2313.jpg

There are Mickey waffles, but we are not fans. I know, gasp!

100_2316.jpg

There is hot cereal and fixings for it!

100_2308.jpg

There is cold cereal...

100_2310.jpg

There are pastries!!! Oh how I wish I could eat chocolate, those chocolate croissants call out to me!!

100_2307.jpg

There is smoked salmon, bagels, cream cheese, etc.

Is your mouth watering too?

Yes. :(

:lmao::rotfl2:

Love the pics! I'll definitely have to add it to my list of places to eat!

I ate supper now, so I'm good. I can look at the pics without my tummy grumbling, lol.

I have eaten there 4 times, and never disappointed!

And for coffee drinkers, the Captain's Grille serves REAL COFFEE!!! Columbian coffee. Not that Nescafe stuff served elsewhere at WDW.

While reading momabaarjo's PRT, the decision about breakfast or dinner at 1900 Park Fare was decided!!! She mentioned lobster benedict, and I was sold!! Next step, making an ADR for 1900PF!!

Yum!! Now we're talking! They look great! Have you ever eaten at 1900PF? I've eaten dinner there, but never breakfast. Edited: I just read your response to me on your PTR, you ate those at the GF Cafe!

I made an ADR for August for 1900PF! That brings me up to 3 ADRS, Captain's Grille, Le Cellier and 1900PF!

So that's 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch, it's a start.

i thought i had come over here but must have confused myself! now i need to catch up!
