Bouncebacks while renting DVC points

I have a friend that was offered a bounce back at her last stay. We are renting points through a DVC owner and staying at AKV this fall 2013. Would we be offered a BB before we leave? Or are they not offered if staying through DVC even if we aren't the owners/members? I know I can't use any discounts if staying through DVC but DD has a gymnastics meet in Disney World in June 2014 and I would a way to get a discount when we go. Since it will only be 8 months after our trip

The bounceback offers are now in your welcome packet (which DVC guests get as well). Even if you don't see the BB offer, call extension 8844 from your room to ask what the current offer is. I booked a BB for October when I was staying on points at BWV this past January.

I believe they will check to see if you are registered to that room when you call. That's all you need, they don't care how you got there, as long as you are officially and legally registered at the time you call.
