Bouncebacks and timelines

Okay, I've done some searching, and can't seem to get a read on this. I remember seeing a bounceback offer in our room on several trips, but I can't for the life of me grasp what timeframe they traditionally have on them.

We are going to be down in April for a short trip and are talking about a Fall '14 trip. Are BB offers typically just for the current year (with the exception of maybe winter time BB Offers)? What are the odds of having a BB that is valid for 2014 this April?

If the odds are slim to none, that's fine, I was just curious.

If a BB is offered in April, it will be for dates in 2013. It won't be until later in the year that BB's (if offered) will include 2014 dates. Mid August through September is usually free dining, so that time will most likely offer BB's for free dining in Aug/Sept 2014, with end of the year possibly offering BB's for early 2014.

Thanks!! That's what I was thinking as well. Oh well. I didn't think the chances were very good that we would be able to book a 2014 BB during our April 2013 trip.

Oh well, here's to hoping that next year they offer some discounts in October.

I would think that Disney could not offer a bounce back for 2014 until those room rates have been released. So that is why I don't think you'll see anything for 2014 until much later in the year, maybe in December if we're lucky.
