We haven't personally taken advantage of this, but it's basically when Disney offers you a discount on your next vacation. For instance, many people who enjoyed free dining in 2008 were offered the same type of deal as long as they booked their 2009 before they checked out of their hotel.

It depends on where you stayed on your last trip. They have a flyer in your room and you have to call and make the reservation before your checkout day. I stayed at POP a few weeks ago and I was able to book a 30% off bounceback. Always plan to have the extra $200 for a deposit on your next vacation with you in case you get a bounceback offer in your room. They don't always offer it, like I was on free dining last September, but my resort didn't have a bounceback offer while others did. You can use it for another resort, like I was at POP and I am using it for CBR. I never get PINS, so this is my only discount opportunity, so I seize it when I can.
