Bounceback split stay at same resort

Can a Bounceback offer be used for a stay at a single resort, one room, but splitting that stay into two different room types during the duration of the stay?

For instance, arrive and check into Garden View or Standard View room for several nights, and then move into Club Level room for additional nights, all at the same resort, without any interruption in stay.

It would be two separate reservations but yes, you can do that. They let you book multiple reservations with one bounce back offer. You would have to check out of one and then check into the other and might have a period of time when you don't have a room. It would be considered a split stay and bell services could hold your luggage until your second room is ready.

Thanks for reply. I've been thinking of doing a short part of the stay in a Club Level room, as my birthday treat. The original BB booking was made last month.

If your BB offer was for a package (incl. tickets) you would have to purchase separate tickets for the second booking (I think), thus probably making it an expensive option. However, if you have already taken that into consideration, it sounds like fun to me!!

You can have as many days as you want on your package for park tickets. Then you just book a room only for the second room.

Or just book a room only for both reservations and buy your tickets separately. Where this falls apart is if you want the dining plan. Then you have to check when you call to book the bouncebacks and see if you can book one as a ticketless package, if you want dining plan on both reservations.

If you want both rooms on a free dining bounceback, the free dining offer has a minimum ticket purchase requirement, so for that one, you have no choice but to purchase at least 2 day tickets on both reservations.

If the BB has already been booked for just one room type for the entire trip, you will not be able to turn that into a split stay and keep the BB discount for the second reservation. Even though you would stay at the same resort, booking a different room type for a portion of your stay would require a new reservation for that room type (as a pp mentioned). Since the second reservation would technically be a new reservation, this would not qualify for the BB discount since you are no longer at Disney. In order to get the discount on both, it would have had to be booked as a split when you originally made the reservation.
