Bounceback Room-Only Question

We're wrapping up our AP in April. We'll be there for Easter and plan on calling and inquiring about a Bounceback offer for our annual Christmas trip.

We understand the bounceback would only go until 12/22. We would check in on 12/22 and stay through 1/1. My questions are:

- Is it similar to the free dining, where so long as you check in during the dates (check in by 12/22) you receive the offer for the length of your trip?

- Can we then add dining on?

- Would we save more doing the RO discount, or the free dining (if it's offered)

- Does anyone have a price breakdown of RO vs. Free Dining?

- Room discounts only apply to the eligible dates. Any other dates are at rack rate. So, no, not like the free dining package.

- You can add dining. But then it becomes a package & those cancellation rules will be in effect. It will not make the discount apply to all nights tho. Discount will still only be on the included dates.

- There is really no way to make a general blanket answer for this. You have to compare the costs for your resort, room type & party make up.

For example, a family of 4 all paying adult dining prices & staying at a value resort, free dining would be a much better discount than a 20 % room discount. My situation: 2 adults staying in a club level room with a 30% discount is better than free dining.

You have to do the math for your own situation. You can always book the bounceback to have something if it is offered for your dates & try to change if a better offer comes out. Bounceback reservations follow the standard cancellation rules.
