Was wondering if Disney is still offering the "bounceback" deal and exactly how it works and what are the benefits. Must it be used for the same resort and is a discount involved? Thanks for your help.

Yes, bouncebacks are still being offered. They are available only to Disney resort guests and must be booked on or before your check out day. It gives you the opportunity to book a future trip with a discount as long as your dates are within the dates/time frames offered under the bb. You do not have to book the same resort; however, the resort you want must be included in the bb and available for your dates in order to book it.

The BB discounts are frequently the same or close to the same as the general public deals that are released later, you just get first crack at booking it. Can be any of the resorts that have BB availability. The offers are usually for selected dates later in the same year, but in the fall get extended into the following year.

Do the BB offers have the same cancellation windows as other offers. It's never occurred to me before but if we can cancel of our plans change it might be worth scheduling a trip. I've never used the BB offer before because it seems strange to me to think about our next trip while we are there.

Yes, same cancellation policy, $200 refundable deposit if a package. If making any changes to dates or resort you can call the normal res line, but like other resort changes your BB promo has to available for all the nights you are switching to.

Yes

I always suggest booking a bb if there's even the slightest chance you will go back since it can be cancelled should you decide not to go. With that said, you can also modify (change dates and/or resort/room type) as long as what you are changing to is offered/available under the original BB.

We are staying at POFQ in February and hoping for a discount to be able to afford a stay at WL the first week of December.
We've never stayed Deluxe before and WL is on our bucketlist. Does anyone know if WL participates in the bb offer? Does it differ from year to year?

BBs do vary from time to time, but WL is often included in BBs/discounts. With that said, the discount is not always the same and can/does vary depending on the resort and room type (i.e., AKL standard/pool view is often included at 25-30%, while AKL CL/savanna view is often 15-20%), it just depends what room types need to be filled during a specific time frame.

For many years we would take advantage of bounce back offers for early December trips to the Boardwalk. Always with significant discounts, typically 30%. But, as others have noted, those same discounts would show up later for the public. The bounce back offers would usually be made for moderate and deluxe resorts as well as villas. One year we splurged on a 1 BR BWV via a bounce back offer.

BB offer for Dec starts on Dec 8. There are no current BB for the first week. I know because we wanted the first week of Dec and the closest we could get was Dec 8 - 15. Nothing for OCT or NOV either.

Yes they are. The dates start on Dec 8th. I'm not sure how long in Dec they are offered. Dec 23, perhaps?
