I have a few questions about the Bounce back offer.

If this is still being offered when we get there next month can I book for March of 09 with this offer or does it have to be next Oct/Nov.

If we are staying at a value can I book a bounce back for a Mod or Deluxe?

Lastly how much do I have to put down to secure the ressie?

Thanks for your help.

Right now the bounceback being offered is for Aug.23-Oct. 8 2009. I think it can be booked through 10/24.

You can book any resort catagory.

$200

Typically March is a very busy season at WDW, so I wouldn't expect to see FD. Although with what has happened in the past few weeks, you never know!

Is the bounceback offer only available thru Disney? I've always booked throught DU ( with cathy Miller ) and would hate for her not to be able to get a comission on the trip if I'm offered one.

Its not about being "offered" a bounceback. I've noticed some confusion with this lately - everyone staying on property gets a bounceback offer! Not everyone gets a notice under their door, however, all you have to do is keep you eye on the Disney Resort channel in your room for all the details. Also you can ask someone at the hotel.

I think this can only be booked via Disney direct, as it has to be done at the hotel where they then have to verify you are currently at the hotel, but it's kind of you to consider your TA! At the same time, if you can take advantage of the bounceback offer (if you can actually visit during the dates offered) I strongly recommend you take the deal! You can always get a refund and book with your TA if another discount comes about.

You can transfer the reservation to DU as long as it isn't paid in full. Just put the deposit down and then contact your agent. :thumbsup2

With the bounce backs do you have to book the trip before you leave the hotel or is there a time frame? Also, is the bounce back a room or package?

Thanks:surfweb:

Ditto-could someone explain bounceback for those of us who are totally clueless?

The current bounceback until 10/24 is for free dining for 8/23/09 to 10/8/09. You need at least a one day base ticket to get the free dining. Youll need to put $200 down before you check out of your current reservation.

You can always book it and have your TA send in a takeover form or when you call to book it give them your TA's info and they can book it for them from the start

I'm being lazy; this is straight from the MouseSavers website. It refers to the current bounceback offer.

Bounceback Free Dining Offer for 2009
A "Bounceback" vacation package offer is available ONLY to guests who are currently staying at one of the official Walt Disney World resorts. (The "bounceback" refers to current guests bouncing back for another stay next year.)

With this offer, using a special phone number and code provided on a flyer provided in the resort rooms, you book a full price Magic Your Way Package (including your accommodations and at least a 1-Day Base Ticket) for select dates in late summer 2009 and receive the Dining Plan for free.

Offer valid for check-ins most nights between August 23 and October 8, 2009. You can check in as late as the last day of this offer and get Free Dining for your entire stay, up to 14 nights. Note that prices will be higher for stays beginning October 2 or later, because Regular Season starts at that time. The rest of the time period offered is in Value Season.

Planning to take advantage of this offer during an upcoming stay at a Disney Resort, but want to know in advance how much the package will cost for your family and your dates? Go to DisneyWorld.com and price out a regular Magic Your Way vacation package for the dates you want, without the Dining Plan. That's your cost.

This offer is available for every resort except the Ft. Wilderness Campsites and Animal Kingdom Villas. (Subject to room availability.)

If you don't get the offer on a flyer in your room, I've also seen reports that the resort TV channel was showing this offer.

You must book before you check out or by 10/24/08, whichever comes first. Reservation for your next vacation must be made before you check out to qualify, and there are no exceptions made. A deposit of $200 per package is required at time of reservation.

Each adult in your room is allowed to reserve one room for the special Bounceback package next year. (So if you have two adults, you are permitted to book two rooms with the 2009 Bounceback package, if you wish.)

Thanks to Small World Vacations for info.

After 10/24 is that it, or do they come out with a new bouceback?

Theyll have a new bounceback that starts usually a few days after that for a room discount that can be upgraded to a package with or without dining, but the discount is on the room only. it will be for select dates in 09

All these different things to watch for.:upsidedow

My DD has already booked her honeymoon for next September, hoping for free dining. We'll have to do some math and see *if* there is a bounceback while we're there next month and *if* it would be a good deal for her. A good percentage off of a room would beat out FD especially at a deluxe resort; I would think. :confused3

Of course I can hope for one for DH & I for next December & my other DD who is also going next December!
