do they always offer a bounceback offer?

when they do offer it, must you return during the same time it was offered?

and i'm guessing you have to put the one night's room deposit down at the time?

No, they haven't always had the bounceback offers. They have a few, sometimes for free dining and another that I know of was for room discounts. In December 2006, they had the offer for free dining during specific dates during August and September. In September 2007 (during free dining and extended into October 2007), they had bounceback for free dining in September 2008. After the free dining bounceback, the room discount bounceback began, but I do not know the dates. Previously, you could book a package and as long as you check in by the last date of the promo, the promo would last until the end of your stay (or 14 days, which ever came first). But now, Disney has changed their system so that promo's only last for the intended dates. The Deposit required when booking for bounceback was $200.00, the usual deposit they require.

We booked bounceback for a different time. During our Thanksgiving stay, we booked for next September. Incidentally, I want to switch it to April but there's nothing available (of the bounceback dates)...boo hoo! I'm just ready to go back sooner!
Seems like the only discounts out there, besides what people are receiving thru the mail or email, are those bouncebacks. According to the historical code release dates, 2008 has very few other than bouncebacks.

We booked bounceback this past Oct for Sept 08, we are checking in on the last day and have free dining for the whole trip. This will be our third time doing this. I have heard that some people were told that they could not do this :confused3 , not sure why but I am happy that we could.

We were at the Poly from 1/16-1/20 and called the extension on the resort television channel. We booked two theme park view rooms at the Poly for 8/10-8/16 for 30% off. I package price I got with the bounceback was $1000.00 cheaper than the price I got online.

August is considered value season at the deluxe resorts, so I wonder if the bounceback promos are offered during the slower seasons. The CM I spoke to when I booked said that there are rarely bouncebacks to come during December when it's busy.

How do you go about finding out about the bounceback? Is it offered to everyone for an upcoming period of time?

If you don't see a flyer in your room, watch channel 19 (the info channel with park hours, etc.) and when they get to the Resorts section, there will be information on the promotion. I received a flyer at check in, and one under my door the day before check out as well.

The bounceback offers, do they have to be within one year? I mean, if we go in July this year and want to take advantage of the bounceback offer can we book Sept of 09? It would still be in 09 but I don't know if it has to be within 364 calendar days.
Thanks

so there are certain 'blocks' of dates related to the bounceback offer throughout the upcoming year?

The flyer I received under the door had a 2008 calendar on it with the promotion dates highlighted in blue. It also said to ask about other dates. I didn't, because the dates I wanted were already highlighted. But it made it sound as if there were some kind of promotion for dates other than the dates advertised.

Yes, a few blocks, and they were all in 2008; but I've read that a few folks have been told that at least the first part of 2009 may be included. Haven't seen that in print yet, tho.
