I'm not even sure that I'll be offered one, but I want to be somewhat prepared if I do get one.

I'm under the free dining Visa card promo. The dates are scattered in Oct., Nov, and Dec for this current offer. I'll be going in Nov. this year. If a bouceback offered was made while I'm there I'd love to do Dec next year, instead of Nov. I would pick Dec dates that are valid this year for this promo next year. I would like to go for the Christmas season. I know that this was a last minute offer almost this year; so, maybe, a bounceback on this offer will not be available until last minute next year. I just figured with the economy as is, that Disney may want to get bookings early and you never know if it could happen with bouncebacks this year for next year. There are some early bouncebacks being offered to the UK, I believe, right now.

The people coming back on these other dates would get a bounceback if offered; so, I figure it shouldn't be that big of a deal to do it on different dates within reason.

On a bounceback is there flexibility with dates to a degree? Are there different dates that you can choose or does it need to be pretty close to your dates of when you are there. I assume, if you came on a weekend Disney would let you come back on a weekend and you wouldn't have to be exact on your dates, but you may need to be within a week of your original reservation for a bounceback.

I'd be curious if anyone out there was able to change their month on a bounceback offer ever. Have you had like a time a month apart or so on a bounceback?

Bete,

While WDW can make its offers contingent on any terms it thinks will sell, when I was there in December 2007, I booked a bounceback (room only) for April and then, after getting home, changed it to January. I don't think there is any requirement you return on an anniversary of your current trip.

I'm curious about this also, since I was hoping we could go next year during December with my parents (my dad hasn't been in fourteen years, though my mom went with me about four years ago). We're also going with the Visa offer, gave us a great excuse to take our daughter for the first time. :)

I'm pretty sure you can change your dates after you get home if you need to, but the dates the BB is good for are specific. You can't use it just anytime, it has to be within in the offered dates.

Just returned yesterday after a wonderful ten days at WDW with DD, DSiL, and 2 DGDs. We had two connecting rooms at ASMo and had a very pleasant stay...:) I made reservations for next October with a Bounceback offer for Free Dining and saved over $1500. Sure wish I knew about Bounceback last October when we were there, but now I know to book the ressies... get the FD and if we need to change dates I don't think that will be a problem. Thanks to all you Dis members, I now know the secrets of saving $$$$$. We've been coming to WDW every October, since 2002 and this is the first Bounceback I knew about. We are now counting the days until next October when we see the Mouse again:mickeyjum

That's great news! They are including free dining under the Visa promotion for bounceback. I hope this info helps out a lot of folks.

One more question: Next year has the quick service dining plan being offered. I just want to make sure you got the regular basic dining plan with your bounceback for free. TIA

I was there last montha nd booked a bouceback for next Sept and got the regular dining plan free.:worship:

You may book for any valid dates in the BB offer; you do not have to book the same week you are visiting this week. When you get home, if you need to change dates I’ve heard that is possible, as long as the adults on the current stay remain on the BB room (you can add people) and the dates remain within the BB offer dates.

You do not have to book the same time that you are there this week. I was there 9/18/08 0 8/22/08 and I booked the bouceback for 9/10/09 - 9/20/09. You just have to book it while you are there. Yes you can change the dates...:woohoo:

Thanks.... you got me thinking, so I called and asked if we had the basic dining plan (FD) for next year and they said that we did. :yay: I guess it pays to confirm. Looking forward to our next trip.:dance3:

I booked the bounceback for next Sept, while we were there last month. I just went to get my paperwork and it says:
Magic Your Way + Dine and down below where it lists all the components it says:

Quick service meals 1 per person, Snacks 1 per person, and Table Service Meals 1 per person. So yes, it is the basic plan, not the Quick Service Plan.
