Bounceback Offer/Existing Ressie

I don't think I've seen this addressed so far. We are going to BC next month, but already have another trip planned for September. Assuming the bounceback offer then is the same as what others are seeing now, are we able to apply the bounceback to an existing reservation? Or do we have to cancel and start over? My current ressie is with DU and they will be making my Sept. ADR's while we are at BC in June. If I have to rebook direct with Disney, that cuts them out of the loop. Obviously, I want to take advantage of the best rates possible, but it has been such a pleasure working with DU. Since they will be making my ADR's, I would not feel right about cancelling with them. Is it even possible to combine free dining with a bounceback offer? We are only staying for 3 nights, so it's likely that the free dining will be the better discount. Can anyone help me out here?

Your DU agent can call and the CM will have to verify that youre currently on property. The res can just be modified. You need to decide which will be more cost effective as you cant have free dining AND a room discount/bounceback

The BB offer that others have talked about would not apply for the FD offer. The FD offer has you paying rack rates for the room. So it's either a room discount with no free dining OR rack rate on the rooms with free dining.

Crunch the numbers to see what would work out best for you. I understood, however, that you needed to make the booking yourself for the BB offer.

A travel agent can make the BB for you as long as the CM can verify you are currently on property. Another way to do it is to book it yourself and give your TA the res number and they can fax Disney a takeover form.
