Bounceback: how far out in late August?

We'll be at CSR the last week of August for free dining. We're hoping for a bounceback offer for April 2009 -- anyone know if the bounceback offers in August would stretch out that far?

Generally a bounceback offer is for the same promotion and time period as your current stay. So if you're book under free dining for next year, they would offer you free dining for next year at the same time frame it was offer this year. Hope that makes sense. I guess to answer your question, it is unlikely you would be offered a bounceback that would be good for April.

Our experience has not been what was stated above. In December 2007 we got a bounceback deal in our room valid from January-September 2008. In April and June 2008 we got bounceback deals from August 2008-December 2008. So in August, they might have the bounceback deals for April out, but it might still be the August-December 2008 deal. If so, you can book December and then move your dates later on.

Thank you! We are going 1n pre cruise on August 16th just with hopes to book bounceback for December since we want club level. Worth a shot.. if not, oh well.. one night stay in Disney is never bad!

slightly OT, but does anybody know if BB is routinely offered? We have stayed at the WL for FD in '06 and at the Poly in '07 with a 40% off pin

but on neither occasion was there any BB offer left in our room....does anybody know if you have to receive the written offer, or if you can just request it???

Last time I got the bounceback, there was nothing in my room telling about it. I knew that it was being offered, so I went to the front desk and asked about it and the CM gave me the flyer. So if there's nothing in your room, make sure you ask about it. I'm hoping that they'll offer something for next year when I'm there in August.

Ok, good to know! I didn't know if you had to be selected or something. So, basically, is the bounceback a percentage off rack rate for a future stay, or is it say, Free Dining if you are booked for FD, like, what i'm trying to ask is if the BB offer corresponds to the offer your current stay includes...
does that make sense?

Did I miss something? Are there bounceback deals going on now or expected to go on in August. I'll be at WDW in August and would love to take advantage of a bounceback!

They were definitely going on as of 6/22 when I left WDW. It does not correspond to what you're currently booked in necessarily. For me, each time it was a flyer that said 30% off select resorts, 40% off select villas. But I guess last year if you were there during free dining, you got a promo for free dining.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and booked a BB for Nov. 30-Dec. 7... 30% off at yacht club (and lots of others were offered to me as well). There was a flyer in the room, but the dates were only through August, but I just called the # and asked. When I called just to check, the first CM asked for the code, when I called the second time to book a few days later, no code needed.

We always book room only and have APs so you'll be fine.
