I checked out this am & had no luck getting a bounceback offer. The one in our room was for stays before Dec 24th. I called the front desk & they told me I would have to talk to reservations. When I called there I was told they coulkd book it but if that dea was not extended until next June that I would lose that & just have to wait on the nezt offer. Unless anyone has any advice I'll just watch for the June deals to come out as usual.

Sorry I don't understand - the BB offer that was in your room for dates up to December 24 is the only BB there is right now. You have to choose from those dates on the offer. :confused3

Also, based on previous years, to get a BB with any June dates of the next year to choose from you would have to stay at a WDW resort starting at the end of October/first of November. So maybe this calls for another trip down then? :cutie:

Someone on here said once that he didn't have a bounceback but that he asked for one for the same time next year and got it

I think you are confusing bb offers with other offers.
People can only book a reservation on a bb that follows the travel dates that offer allows.
The current bb offer will not be extended into sometime next year. A new offer will probably come out later.
You will need to wait to see what offer becomes available later for the travel times you wish. But it will not be bb unless you return, and your future travel dates cover what you want.
Possible that later this year a bb offer is for 2011 travel. But no one will know that until it appears.

Oh I understand now, sorry for the confusion. :goodvibes

I wonder if they were staying and talking about booking their BB during the Free Dining period? Because the BB that is usually offered during free dining (usually August/October) is a BB to be able to book a return trip for the next years FD dates (usually August/October).

JMO this is probably what will be offered based on previous years: The current BB with room discounts/return stay dates until December will probably expire when FD starts, then a new BB that lets you book a package a year ahead for next year's FD will probably start, then that one will probably expire sometime in October, and a new BB will probably start that will have room discounts and will have dates into 2011.

I'm sorry you didn't get the BB dates you wanted, I know it's aggravating. I don't know if you could have booked some December dates just to "hold" your BB status, and then modified those when a different BB offer came out? Hopefully someone else here has had that same situation and can post what they did :)

They could probably modify their dates. But I don't know that it would be at a bb rate. :confused3 But hard to say. Disney would be willing to modify a res, as long as the dates are available. But maybe not necessarily at the rate the bb guest may expect. But by then maybe another offer would be good for them anyway.

Thanks for all of the help. Disney told me that I could book at the bb rate but that when it expired they would increase it to full price and I would just have to watch for new deals and call them when I found one. I will just continue as I have in years past and wait until the June deals come out, which is usually around February. That usually works out perfect b/c that is when we get our tax refund and know what our Disney budget for the year is. :goodvibes
