Bounceback for a 2011 date?

Since we are in 2010 now, I was wondering if anyone has booked a bounceback for 2011? Would love to know the details .... looking for Feb 2011 particulars!

We just returned from a trip at AKL and we booked a BB for Dec. 2010. However, we are really hoping to switch to Feb. '11, so we're on a search for an offer then, too.

I was told at the Wilderness Lodge by several different staff members that there is no bounceback offers. Does anyone have the contact information for BB?

I am pretty sure that the 2011 BB offers won't be out till later in the year. The ones people have been getting recently are up to December 2010.

2011 Bouncebacks won't be available til mid-year or probably August if I recall correctly.

I don't ever remember seeing them before then..

Come to think of it, how could they do bounceback for 2011 before they knew the rack rates for that year? (Which is mid-August?)

Here's a copy of the current BB flyer posted by DISer "Rootskate" (thanks to Rootskate for posting it) so you can see what it looks like when you call and beg them to let you book it Since you asked and no one knew about it while you were there and now you can't call the extension 8844 from the room, you might try the 407-541-5523 number on the flyer and explain what happened - and even though you are supposed to book prior to checkout, I have read other DISers posts here where they WERE allowed to book in this situation, so I hope it goes well for you too.

Just returned yesterday from a couple of days at POP Century. I am sure this has been posted before but just figured I would let anyone know who was wondering if the bounceback is still going on. I looked for an expiration date but didn't see one.

Also to OP, I agree about probably not getting any 2011 dates on a BB this early. Usually you would see next years dates first during the Free Dining period for the next years Free Dining dates, and then after that FD BB expires (usually October), the next BB that starts showing up in rooms Oct/Nov will have some of the next years BB dates on it. Whew, hope that made sense.

JMO if you're looking for 2011 BB before that, I would probably book whatever BB is offered during your stay, then try and modify that res when new BB dates show up here on the DIS (which I've also read of DISers doing). Hope you have good luck too!

Very good point. It's kind of hard to have a bounceback offer when the rates haven't been released yet.

At the end of December, the bounceback offer in our room at the Poly was valid until 12/24/10.

They must have different BB flyers at different resorts. I just returned from a FW cabin, and I had one offering 45% off DVC, 40% off deluxe, and I think 40% off on the FW cabins. No other mods, or any values were mentioned at all on my "clock" flyer. I booked 45% off on a one bedroom villa at BWV for 10 days in September. I did notice on my "clock" it had a number, a dash, and then FWC on it, so maybe it was specific to the FW cabins. They did ask me twice which resort I was staying in, so I don't know if the offers are resort specific or not - but it never hurts to ask if you want something you don't see listed. The worst they can do is say no!
