Bounceback Discount Question

So is a free dining bounceback really a great deal? Is there also a room discount worked into the price? Would the price be the same if I were to take advantage of a regular free dining offer for 2014?

We are going in August, and if there is a bounceback deal being offered, we are going to strongly consider it but I would love to hear a little bit more about it.

Thanks!

If you receive a free dining bounceback, it would be the same as free dining you would normally buy in the spring when it's released. You would call during your trip, book the reservation and put $200 down for a deposit. There's no additional room discount built in, but yes it's a great deal. Basically you pay rack rate for your room + park tickets and your dining is free.

The big thing here is there's never a guarantee they will offer free dining in the spring, and bounceback dates many times cover a wider span as well. For example, this year, the bounceback began August 18, where the free dining offer in the spring began on September 2.

Every year rumors swirl that free dining is over, and so far every year that hasn't been the case. One of these years, it will be the case and there will be many folks happy they booked the bounceback offer. I know one thing for sure...I've never taken advantage of one, but if offered this year I will without a doubt.

If it's a great deal depends on how many in your party & what resort you stay at. We're only 2 adults & stay at a deluxe resort. A room only discount is always a better deal for us. Free dining would be a better deal at a value or moderate resort, or if we had more adults in our room.
