DH and I are thinking about getting DS5 and DS(almost)3 a bounce house for Christmas this year. I've looked on ebay and they seem to be reasonable. I'd had in my head about $200 which seems about right. Anything I should look for while I'm trying to figure out what to buy?? I know the kids would get my money's worth out of it and the price of buying one is just about the same as the cost to use it once for a party. I just have no idea what I'm looking for or if $200 is still way too high. I would so appreciate any advice in this area!

Get a large one. Do not bother with the little tikes ones. They are very small. I got mine at Costco and it is I believe 10x13 on the jump floor. It is huge but they will never outgrow it. I think it cost about $300 with shipping.

We bought the little tikes one and my kids quickly outgrew it. Also dont kid yourself into thinking it will ever fit back into the bag they supply with it. It wont LOL

:rotfl: That would be DH's job! (purely so I could laugh about it! :rotfl2:) No I was thinking we would like keep it in a big tote or something just so it's all in one space. I'm thinking they're pretty big to store (I have no idea!).

There is a poster on the DIS who wound up PG with #3 after buying one of those for #1 & #2. Just sayin' ;).

Mickeyboat - I was thinking about that too!

It will not fit into a tote. It has to be folded and rolled up as small as you can and then carried to the location that you will store it in. It will never ever ever fold as small as when you go it. It also weighs 9 million pounds so it is a job for DH. My Dh can break the thing down in minutes. We leave it outside as long as it isn't going to rain. Turn it on in the morning to get the dew off and then jump jump jump!:dance3:

:rotfl2: Can tell you that isn't gonna happen at our house! But thank you for the warning!!

That's good to know! I was thinking we wouldn't have it out every single day but when we do get it out, it would be out for a few days or at least moved around the yard so the grass doesn't die.
