So i just heard what bounce back is and i am a bit upset we were not offered this while in WDW.
is there certain situations where they only offer so many people, or do you have to have gone x amounts of times before?
We totally would have jumped on it and i feel a bit jipped?

Can anyone explain bounce backs better?

You can try to e-mail them and see what happens, especially if you just came back within the month. We didnt get a flyer either and read about bounceback when i returned a few weeks later. We had booked another trip for August in the meantime. I e-mailed Disney and got a phone call a few days later. The woman was very nice and said she was going to put the free dining on our package for August. I wasnt expecting a response from Disney let alone a phone call. you may not have as good a luck if you call, you may be better off with the e-mail and put your phone # on it. Also explain that if you had gotten the flyer you would have gladly booked.
The worse they can say is no but you will never know unless you at least try.

Bounceback deals are (usually significant) discounts if you book your next trip before leaving or shortly thereafter from your current stay @ WDW. My parents have done them a few times booking their next Wilderness Lodge stay on the last day of their current one. I believe they are generally "pin code" offers in that the number on the offer is specific to that individual guest. I don't know how they determine who they are offered to, but I do know they have been given to guests staying in DVC units on points and cash guests in the hotels. The discount is only for cash stays through CRO however, so don't get your hopes up if you are a DVC owner and thinking you could save some points.

Hope that helps!

If you don't see an offer in your room...flyer, etc. ALWAYS ask at concierge. There is ALWAYS a bounce back offer but sometimes the family that stayed there before you took the flyer and mousekeeping didn't replenish it. Moral of the story...ALWAYS ask.

yes, the bounceback offers are simply a flyer put in the room by Mousekeeping. If it's not there...it's because your housekeeper forgot to restock it when the family staying in the room before you took it. Has nothing to do with your particular family. There is a current bounceback good until 10/24 for stays in August/Sept 2010. It's a free dining offer.
