We will be staying at the World over the holidays this year, 8 nights at AKV Jambo and 4 at Pop. Because of the tremendous AP offer for DVC members, the three of us will have the top level APs which will be valid until next December.

Because of my kids’ ages, it is becoming increasingly difficult to pull them from school, and by next year it will be impossible. Therefore, we are locked into Christmas and summer for Disney travel. We are DVC members but are using all of our points in December, so if we are going to go back in the summer, we would probably stay at POP again.

Typically, what bounceback (Or AP) offers are available for summer bookings and what months are they generally available?

It has been 8 or 9 years since I’ve gone in the summer, so the second question is, crowd-wise when is it preferable to go. My kids are done school May 31 and go back around the third week of August.

This is the 2017 room only bounceback. It was first available around the middle of October 2016 and will be available through 2017. If Disney continues the pattern then the 2018 bounceback should be available within a few weeks. The 2018 room only discount will be the bounce back offer that will be offered when you are there in December. I posted the 2017 discount to give you an idea of what has been offered in the past. There are always discounts for the summer.
