Bounce Back Offers?

Hi guys:
We will be in WDW at the end of August. Could I book a bounce back offer for February 2015 or is it only available for the same period the following year (end of August 2014)?
Also, how much can you change it afterwards? Could I book a family suite and downgrade to preferred room or vice versa?

The dates available will be directly on the offer advertisement you get in the room. There are a few options and February may be one of them, but if you are there in August 2013 any offers would be for 2014, not 2015. The bounce back is for the following year.

You can change it as much as you want as long as it is comparable. You would only be able to downgrade if that room/hotel were part of the offer. No one is going to be able to give you a definitive answer without seeing the offer at the time and knowing what the specific change is.

As a bearer of not only bad news, but good.....You could book it for next year for a simple $200 refundable deposit. Work hard to be able to go and cancel prior to the 45 days mark and get your money back if you find it impossible.

We did book a few years ago and then committed to making it happen. It was a great trip and everyone pitched in. Just a thought.

Oh....one more thing. If you book a vacation package using the Disney Visa, you get 6 months no finance charge to pay it off. That may help you to afford a trip where you can take advantage of the offer.

That is what we are doing this year We went last year and we were not supposed to be able to go back in a couple of years but here we are, coming back in August

I'm not in the US, I don't think I would qualify for a Disney Visa. What makes trips really expensive for us are the plane tickets. But we'll be back for sure, maybe every two years if everything goes well

We just got back yesterday, and unfortunately, the bounce back was only good for dates through the end of the year. We are not in a position to go back that soon. I called to ask about any 2014 dates, and I was told the rates are not available yet. I was bummed.

BUT, I did finally receive a PIN for FD...actually it is in my husbands name, but it is was sent to my alternate e-mail account. I know for a fact, all my husband ever did was order a vacation planning CD to be sent to our cottage with a Michigan address. When I checked the PIN, that was the zip code it was under.
