Bounce Back Offers

Can anyone tell me how Bounce Back offers work? Do they always give guests the opportunity to "Bounce Back" the following year? Do you have to travel at the same time of year? For example, If we get a Bounce Back offer this year on our October trip can we book for December of 2009? Any iformation would be greatly appreciated.

You'll get the best answers to this question about the Bounceback offers from Disney resorts over on the Resorts & booking board.

However, generally speaking, you'll see a card in your room detailing the offer while are there. The dates for which the offer is valid will be listed.

It may or may not extend to December of 2009 at the time of your visit this fall.

What days your bounceback offer is for depends on when you are there...in May 2008 all the dates were for 2008 (no bounceback offered for May 2009 then.) If you're there in December 2008, the bounceback offer will be for 2009, but not sure they will be offering Dec. 2009 at that time...often they offer "off" times within the next 6 months

...the bounce back offer in the room for that time frame was on a gold pocket-watch shaped card. Here's what it said (I shortened it a little, so you'd get the specifics)

Last Oct. we did the bounceback...it was to lock in free dining in Aug and Sept. of this year.

If you can't book for December 2009 when you are there in October, book it for as far out into 2009 as you can then wait 6 months and call to see if you can change it to a December date. Bounceback offers (room only) can be modified, I shortened mine from April to January. I don't know whether you can extend it by three months or even whether there will be rooms available at the discout. But you aren't out anything as long as you cancel it more than 45 days out (or before the cancellation date, whatever that may be).
