Does anyone know if I can book a bounce back while at the campground? We are spending spring break at Fort Wilderness and I would love to book a bounce back during that stay (if one is available) for hotel stay later in the year. Thanks in advance. :D

I know you can book a bounceback from your resort room phone by dialing 8844, but I'm not sure how you do that if you are at a campsite and there is no "room" phone. Maybe ask at checkin? Perhaps they have a phone you could use?

There are bounce-backs for the cabins only, not the campsites.

To expound on this, everyone staying at Fort Wilderness (cabin and campsite) receives a bounce-back offer in their packet of information they can receive at check-in if they wish. However, campsites have not ever been (as far as I know), nor are they now, part of a bounce-back offer. Only resort rooms (which includes cabins) can be reserved as a bounce-back if they are offering it at that resort on that particular date.

PS - as a camper who brings my trailer from home, bounce-back offers have no appeal.

Bama Ed is right. We camped in July and got an offer while we were there.
I am bashing myself over the head because I didn't go for it.

So I could book a cabin? Thank you

hmm good point

If you booked a cabin I would think it would have a phone but I haven't stayed in one before

As I said, you can book a cabin if cabins are included for the dates you are looking at and if there is availability for that offer. Like with other discounts and offers, every vacant room/cabin on a given day isn't automatically eligible for the offer. Just like any other offer, there may be limited amounts by resort by date.

The BB offer sheet given at the Fort has a WDW phone number to contact. Since campsites don't have phones, the CM would likely have to go through the extra step of verifying the caller is a current guest - cabins have phones. So whether in a cabin or campsite, follow the instructions on the BB offer sheet and see if you can find an opportunity that meets your dates and the eligible resorts you might want to stay at.

No need to book a cabin just to qualify for the Bounce Back Offer. Dial extension 8844 from your room or call 407-939-1923 and ask about the booking code that is listed in the pamphlet. If staying at Fort Wilderness, you will receive the offer at check-in at the Outpost. Offer is only valid while you are actually staying on-site. ( aka during your current visit ).

Note: There are some exclusions including a BB offer for a future stay in the Campground. So you can't get a discount on a future campground stay.

Actually, I've booked a Bounce-back while staying at the campsites. I used the House phone in the Outpost.
