So for a 1 bedroom which is better, copper creek or boulder ridge? I know that boulder ridge is older but they are bigger. We have 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 3).
The BRV rooms are roomier but much more dated. They are getting updated in the next few months. The CCV rooms are smaller but very recently built(2017). I always opt for CCV for the same points.
another vote for CCV, when I stayed in VWL it was nice but you felt disconnected, I always enjoy stepping out of the room and being able to look over the lobby and even find a place to sit above the lobby
I will always say Boulder Ridge. I am just not a fan of Copper Creek at all. I think that it feels cramped being that it is converted from hotel rooms. We had a stay at Boulder Ridge and they wanted to upgrade us to a Copper Creek room. I tried to keep an open mind and went and looked at it. We just did not like it and then they miraculously found us a Boulder Ridge room for the week.
We chose CVV for our upcoming stay (there's only 2 of us, so we chose a walkin shower studio). Literally a $20 difference for the week from BR (we're paying cash, not DVC), so I chose it based on being newer AND the fact that it's in the main building of WL. I like that it's right between both pools, too. We also prefer the room styling.
This is interesting. When I asked the question I figured Copper creek would win out no problem. I imagine once boulder ridge does a refurbishment it will be the better choice due to the size.

I really love the theming, location, and layout better at Boulder Ridge. I am really hoping that they don't ruin the theming/decor when they do the refurb.
