Boulangerie in France..............

We are using the DDP for our trip in March and I am wondering if the Boulangerie offers any of it's items as snacks? What about as a CS meal?

I've heard that you can get any 2 items plus a beverage as 1 cs meal

We've ate there twice on the dining plan. For a CS you get a savory pastry (or fruit/cheese plate), any sweet pastry, and a medium drink. The only thing you can get for a snack credit is a medium drink.

You didn't ask, but just FYI: at the bakery in Norway you can get a cup of soup, plus a sandwich, any pastry, and a large soda for a CS credit and any of their pastries for a snack credit. If you like La Kringla bakeri, it's a better deal.

I can confirm that none of the pastries at Boulangerie count as a snack credit on the Dining Plan -- only beverages.

This should be incorrect information. i was there in sept and they told me "only the medium drink" for a snack(that for sure is wrong just go to any other place and you know that isn't true)I gave up as the sho was busy. When i got home, I sent a letter to guest relations and the girl called me and we discussed it and I was correct and the girl at the French counter was wrong. If you are there please stand up for your rights on this one. I was told by guest relations that next time demand to see a manager and if they don't correct the problem to let guest relations know.
Any snack under $4. at a participating place would qualify(if it is inside the parks) The French one is no different, no matter that the employees there tell you.

I don't think the food services in France are Disney operated. They don't have to meet the same criteria for options as a Disney operated location.

Does this mean that I could get soup/sandwich/pastry drink and have it count as a child's CS credit? Or would it only apply to adult. I'm always looking for a more appetizing child's selection for my 6 year old!

I, too, was not allowed a pastry with a snack credit. I was told I could only have a regular size drink. This was in July 2006. If you want good desserts in Epcot, you can also use a snack credit for one at Seasons food court in the Land pavillion--delicious choices there!

Unfortunately, it is correct information. Each eatery can make it up its own rules regarding snack credits, beyond the standard choices listed in the Dining Plan brochure:

• Frozen ice-cream novelty, popsicle or fruit bar
• Single piece of whole fruit
• 20 oz bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Desani
• Coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea
• Popcorn scoop
• Single serving bag of snack
• Medium fountan soft drink
• Single prepackaged milk or juice

If they have any of those items, they should allow you to order them for a snack credit. For anything else, it is completely up to the manager of the eatery, and at Boulangerie, the only thing they have that qualifies is Coke products and coffee.

Any snack under $4.

Again, unfortunately, that's not the case. Some eateries have a policy that includes any snack under $4 or almost any snack under $4, but not all eateries have such a policy. I'm sorry you were misled into thinking you were mistreated. Please rest assured that you were not.
