I thought we had decided, but reading your info, I'm not sure. I did not think that points could go up at a certain pace or time without giong down at a nothre place or time. Did I mis-read?

Ok I am a newbie, but I'm going to give this one a shot! Let me know if I am incorrect. The points per night that you need to reserve a room can change but like you said something else must be adjusted keeping the total points for the year the same. What they were referring to was the purchase price per point going up. Right now through DVC it is 89/point and you can choose either $5 per point off (used towards your down payment) or Magical Beginnings where they will buy back your first years points for $10/point. This too goes towards your down payment.

As of 4/4/04 the price goes to $95/point. I am not sure of the promotions though.

I understand now. FYI -The $5 promo could end at any time (per DVC). By the time SSR opens for sure. The $10 buy back will likey be around for a while.
