Bought SSR direct yesterday!!!

WOOT! Very excited. We bough a small contract at SSR to take advantage of the $99 pp price. Only 50 points, and we are still waiting on a 150 point BWV resale contract in ROFR.

We were going to try to find a 50 resale contract, but after comparing costs of each, turns out going direct was about the same price. 2010 points, small closing costs, the UY we wanted to match the resale contract.

Our WONDERFUL DVC rep also did a little extra for us. We planned a WDW trip with Dreams Unlimited months ago, long before we even thought of buying into DVC, and we already paid our trip insurance. Turns out it's non-refundable. Well, our DVC rep gave us a $200 Disney gift card to make up for the lost money due to canceling the trip. WOW! AND, as a little bonus, he is mailing out some special pins for me to give to my two dd's, who like to collect and trade.

What a terrific experience. If anyone needs a referral, PLEASE PM me. I love love LOVE my DVC rep.

No, you misunderstood. I am actually in ROFR for a resale BWV contract. We should hear in about three weeks if we passed. In the meantime, we wanted to add on 50 more points (our resale contract is 150). After much research, it turned our direct was comparable to resale on a small contract like this one.
