I called a DVC guide directly last Tuesday morning who was referred to me by a friend. I purchased 200 points, gave 2 credit cards for the deposit. From what I understood, the documents were going to be mailed out this Monday. My friend told me they wait 3 days to charge the cards in case you change your mind.
On Saturday (4 days after I called), neither card had been charged yet, so I called the guide and left him a voice mail.
Monday morning he called and left me a message saying he had told me last Tuesday when I initially called him, that the card should be charged that day (Monday), and the documents mailed out later this week.
As of now, neither card has been charged yet. Should I be worried/questioning this? Or is this a normal time line? From what I've read on experiences purchasing DVC/from my friend's experience, the deposit was quickly charged and they received the documents within days. I realize I'm probably just being impatient, I figure I'll try and wait till Friday to see if the cards get charged and if not, I'll call him again. What do you all think?
