Bought Oldest DS an xBox 360 for Christmas

And he's setting it up right now. He also has a blu-ray player, but does he still need a Blu-ray player? Or will the xBox, like a PS3, also play blu-ray discs?

Nope. Regular DVD's yes but not Blu-Ray.

Thanks for the info. Bummer, I was hoping to be able to return the HDMI cable I bought to go with the xbox to Target and to repo my old blu-ray player and sell it on Craigslist for a little cash.
