After a year or so of investigating DVC (thanks to many of the wonderful DISboard contributors) we decided to buy 200 points at the BWV. Just put a deposit on it to the Timeshare store.

I was hoping to hear some of your favorite features of the BWV (or DVC in general)
  • CBR 6/01
  • AKL 6/03
  • Poly 10/03

Welcome Home!

And congratulations on your decision. You will find, as many have here, that it is one of the best you'll make. What to love about BWV? We love the proximity to Epcot and MGM, the standard view point options, Spoodles, Boardwalk Bakery, Jellyrolls (particularly Jellyrolls) and many small details. What to love about DVC? The comfort of returning to the same place yet enjoying a very different vacation each time. You are set to enjoy many years of special memories and wonderful trips.

Welcome Home. We have contracts at three DVC resorts but the BWV is our favorite.

Welcome Home!!! Well, when we decided to buy into DVC, my dh said we would buy but only at BWV!!! He loved the closeness to Epcot and MGM, he loved the activities on the Boardwalk itself. There isn't anything about BWV that we don't like!! You're going to be so happy with your purchase.

Congratulations and Welcome Home! The thread pasted above really has a great summation of what all of us BWV owners really love. Enjoy!

Congratulations and Welcome Home, Goofynme!!!

After 1 trip at BWI and 2 trips renting at BWV, we bought BWV last year - we LOVE it there - and the 'just like home' feeling for us 'Jersey shore' folks makes it all the more special !:smooth:

Welcome to my home

Any DVC resort is great! All have their good points. You're gonna find yourself planning vacations for the next 38 years!

Hi,

Congrats & Welcome home!!!

goofynme,

From one Jersey Shore person to another, good luck. The ROFR process is going to very tiring but a lt of people, including me, have passed recently. Good luck!

PS. List your details.

Mike

Goofynme,

Use year, cost per point, who pays fees (buyer or seller) any 2004 points.

Hey-

Congrats, just passed ROFR, too, at BWV. You should join the thread about ROFR started by carlos 1117. It's kind of like a support group for those witing on ROFR (and now those waiting to close like Mike and I).

I just noticed, Mike and Goofynme-

Where at the shore? I am about 40 min west of Phillie and go to OCNJ every August. (Can't seem to get DS age 4 off of those boards.)
