Your best bet is to find someone who knows Macs and have them show you around. Also, go to the Apple website under support, then discussions. Lots of help there. Also, any book by Robin Cooke (I think that's the author) will be a good resource. It's really best to have someone show you around, lots of little tips and trick- in fact, there is a book on Amazon called OS X tricks, or something like that.
I think you will really love your iMac. Remember, just because you don't know how to do something on your new computer, doesn't mean that it can't be done, you just haven't learned it yet. Utilize the Apple forums a lot, post all your questions there, or pm me- I'd be happy to help.
