Bought a digital camera at Target on Friday for $199, now it is at Best Buy for $149

Been there -- done that!! If Target won't give you the difference, and it's the same camera(exactly), you could purchase the camera from Best Buy for $149 and go straight to Target with your receipt from Friday and return the "new one." This way, you still only pay $149 and Target hasn't lost anything (except a sale).:thumbsup2

The only problem I see with returning the camera is they will probably charge you either 15 or 20 percent restocking fee. Sorry

I never knew that Target had a restocking fee??

I pretty sure they do for electronic items and I think the camera would be consider an electronic. But I could be totally wrong--I do this alot--;)

Our Target does have a restocking fee, and a really poor return policy on electronics, music, dvd, video games etc. We don't buy any of those things there because of it.

Even their online store has a restock fee "Camcorders, digital cameras, portable DVD, portable electronics, framed art, gas-powered scooters and hot tubs purchased from Target.com are subject to a 15% restocking fee."
