Regular unli Coke is no longer an option at Nando's in the UK due to draconian government laws surrounding beverages like Coke. All in the name of health. Scotland and Wales, enjoy it while you can as your governments will also take it away by next year too. Lower sugar alternatives are unaffected.

This is really such a non issue. There has been a sugar tax in UK since 2018. Free drink refills have not been allowed in France since 2017.

Nandos have been one of the few places which have somehow escaped the restrictions up until now. Free refills are not standard in most places in Europe. Its not a big deal , and was more of a novelty in Nandos than anything else.

Its not going to make any difference to day to day life, and not something people are really going to be bothered about.

My daughter lived in the UK for a year and the lack of free refills on soda did catch her off guard. Even sugar free sodas.

Actually no. Getting free refills is not something Im used to, so when Im in America its not something that I request or get, or think about.
