Hi
Has anyone had cases of water delivered to their hotel prior to checking in... we are big water freaks and dont like the area water and would prefer not spending 2.50 a pop at least 5 times per day for all of us:(

Thanks for the info!!!;)

We are big water drinkers....love Poland Springs and it is not available in Florida. We shipped two cases of sport bottles to the BWI via Fedex (a friend works for Fedex and got great heavy duty boxes for us!!) When bell services delivered the very heavy boxes we tipped heavily!!It was great having delicious water especially in the heat last spring.

Thanks for the reply...ialso drink poland springs water and i considered having it shipped...what dit it cost you...i wonder about ups ground...:D

I do not remember exactly how much it was becase my friend used her discount. Although it was certainly not cheap to ship even with the discount I do remember telling people who thought we were totally nuts.... Well it was less than $2.50 a bottle at the parks.

I'm assuming you are flying to Orlando? Rather than use a taxi or shuttle, you could use a towncar service that makes a grocery stop and purchase water at a store. I haven't seen the Poland Springs brand (we don't have it in Texas) but find that the Publix store brand of water is good (better than Ozarka and some other brands).

How about packing a Brita water filtration pitcher and make your own "bottled" water when you get there. Just keep a pitcher of filtered water on hand and use the resort glasses. I guess that doesn't solve the park problem but you will probabally have to buy that there anyway unless you are going to lug around a lot of bottles at the parks.

I'm not a water connosiure so maybe the pitcher wouldn't be sufficient for you. To me one bottled water is just like another. I always laugh at people drinking Evian. I guess I just don't have a very educated pallate.:)

Hi! I've been lurking for about a month to prepare for our trip on May 21-25. (We'll be staying at Poly concierge) I've decided to "come out" because first I have a question on this topic, and second it seems like this board has a lot of fun not be mention informative members.

Well, my question is, does anybody know what brands of bottled water are available at grocery stores around Disney. We --DH, DS4 and DS2--will be using Tiffany and I believe they stop only at Publix? Although this is our 3rd trip, it would be our 1st grocery stop. I'm wondering if we should just ship a box of Poland Spring. I've seen Evian in Maui, so I guess it would be available in Oralndo, but I would rather not buy French for obvious reasons.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info, Poohbear123. For some reason, I thought of Publix as a 7-11 type store. I know, my ignorance is showing. As a matter of fact, I keep forgetting how nicer--bigger, wider selection, better service, etc-- supermarkets are once you leave NYC metro area. Of course, now I'm going to worry about how I'm going to get the shopping done within 30 minutes at a new supermarket with unfamiliar layout!

Have any of you used the Brita water bottle with the filter right in it? I bought one, but haven't used it yet. Maybe one for each of us is in order?

I take a Brita with me alot of places. I get ice from the hotel and continue to refill thru the day. They work great as far as getting the sulfur taste out of the water. I have a rubbermaid insulated bag that has a stap and it does help with the sweating of the bottle. I like to be able to continue to refill all the time with fresh cold water.
