Bottled water search

It probably sounds silly to other people but I had difficulty finding plain old bottled water at WDW on our recent trip. At various resort market places (BCV, Riviera, WL), the only bottled water sold was the ‘enhanced’ types with chemicals added. I can’t do magnesium in various forms and they all contained it. Thank goodness I had made a grocery stop and bought a big supply of plain spring water before checking in at my resort. Still frustrating. Yes, I knew about the free ice water, but ended up just bringing my own bottles each day.

Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone else has to be cautious about their drinking water.

Once we found gallons of spring water in the gift shop at Old Key West. I don't know if they still carry it, but I wish all of the resorts would do this.

I don't like using single use plastic bottles, but want spring water or other purified water for drinking. I've discovered that instacart and other services can deliver water, which is so awesome and so much cheaper.

I feel like Dasani is usually available anywhere that there are bottled Coke products - was that not the case?

Dasani is purified water and has additives including magnesium... although I would consider this plain old bottled water.... some want natural spring water like Poland Spring which is just natural spring water.
You are better off ordering water if you have a preference and want to avoid???
For me I use Larq with a Pure vis filter which removes the taste in all parks except MK where there is still a slight taste left. The water refile stations are filtered so no taste.
With that I am a water drinker have been for over 30 years and plain old tap is just fine not for any other reason then I like water. I just do not like soda or ? exception is coffee and iced tea if I have to get.... but I will drink soda once a month maybe at home more at Disney.

Oh, I did not realize that Dasani had additives, but that's the reason. Coca-Cola has an exclusive with Disney Parks, so their products are what you'll find available.

The gift shops also all have gallon jugs of distilled water to use in CPAP machines.
I was just about to post this. There are no additives, which makes it taste different, but if you need to avoid added magnesium, distilled water is readily available at all resorts. You might have to ask for it, because they often keep it behind the counter.

Hope you bought spring water you are familiar with as it can also have things like magnesium in it. You need to buy distilled if you want water without traces of other minerals.

I check labels and buy the water that doesn’t contain magnesium, usually spring water.

We've always just drank the tap water in our room and use it to fill our stainless-steel water bottles. Now we don't even carry a water bottle with us except for flying to MCO or back home. We just ask for free ice water in the parks and at Starbucks in Disney Springs. Why buy plastic bottled water just to get a slug of micro -plastics from every bottle you drink?
