Out of curiousity is bottled water available on the ship, is there a charge for it. I drink a lot of water, especially in the heat. I know when we cruised last there were the beverage stations that offered lemonade, iced tea etc, but I don't remember anything else. I'm not a huge fan of sugary drinks and am picky about my water. Is it best to buy a case of water and bring it on board?

You do pay for bottled water on the ship. We brought on a six-pack of 24-ouncers in our carry-on because I'm kind of an Aquafina addict. Evian is the brand onboard. The water on the ship is filtered, though.

The water in the deck 9 drink station is filtered so we refilled the bottles we brought in our carry ons from there.

Saw in the Navigator from the 5/28 West Coast Cruise that they were offering a Family Value Water Package, 24 bottles of Evian for $29.00, to be purchased at any of the bars.

I have seen may people carry on water and drinks. Not too srue why they carried on the drinks since you can get a soda free at the beverage stations. I also drink tons of water. I hardly ever drink anything besides water unless it is an adult drink.

We bought a case of Evian onboard, but we went through that really quickly. We loved the drinking water on board, and began ordering pitchers of ice water up to our room every day and that worked out even better for us! :teeth:

I plan on bringing on a case of water (I can get a case for $4 as opposed to $29) and we will use that for port days. We will probably take 6 bottles of the ship with us each time. I don't want to have to remember to save the bottles when we're off the ship so we can refill them for the next port. I'd rather be able to throw them away if we're finished with them.

I'm very much a bottled water drinker and we brought it on for our first couple of cruises. Now we just bring sports bottles and fill them up at the deck 9 drink station. That water in wonderful! Before excursions we fill the bottles up with crushed ice and then top it off with water and we have a cool drink for the day.
