Does anyone know if you can order bottled water at table service restaurants? We have adr's for Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Sci Fi and Askerhus. Thanks!
yes you can, but it's the premium bottled water, so it's pricey (not the $2.50 bottle kind they sell in the parks.) Thinking Pellegrino was one of the brands I remember being mentioned...
the water they serve in the restaurants (tap water) is apparently filtered, because it tastes WAY better than Florida's regular drinking fountains and resort sink water. We usually get ice water along with whatever beverage we order and it's fine.
(I've been trying to avoid an additive in our local water, so I've been researching bottled waters recently, and I was surprised to read that we've been paying so much for filtered Anaheim water while we we're in Disneyland!)

You are paying for the cost of the bottle, the operation of the plant where they do the bottling, the transportation of the bottle, the handling and storage of the bottle at the selling location, as well as the profits for all of the above.
Most restaurants will have a large filtration system which handles all drinkable water. Basically this covers everything other than dishwashing sinks and machines. And so when you get a glass of ice water both the ice and the water are filtered.
