The waitlist does work! I had booked a Boardwalk view 2 bdrm. for the week before Easter for 5 nights and I was going to get a standard room for the first few nights at a moderate.
However, now that I only have 3 people I didn't want to use 50 pts. per night during high season
but I didn't want to give up that view so I was put on the waitlist for Th, F & Sat (3/29-4/1) in a Boardwalk view studio, and Sun - Thurs. (4/1-4/5) in a Boardwalk view 1 bdrm. and both of these came through in the last few days!
Now I even have a few points to bank!

I'm waiting for my waitlist to clear, June 10th for 1 night in a GV unit at OKW. This is the first night of a 5 day trip that hasn't cleared yet
