Boston hotel suggestions

I am looking at flying into Boston for a mini vacation. I had seen some previous threads that when you fly into Boston and stay downtown that some hotels have a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport.

Can you recommend some of these hotels? Can you also recommend some nice hotels? I was looking at the Omni Parker House, but haven't really seen much else.

I've stayed at the Omni Parker House before. Very nice hotel. Easy walk to many of the Boston sites and close to a T station.

I've liked the Omni and also the Langham. I like the Hotel Marlowe when wanting to stay near the Museum of Science.

Thanks! I was just looking at the Langham. I saw it on the travel channel yesterday with their chocolate bar!! lol

I find the omni parker house to be a little run down. What part of Boston do you want to be in? I prefer the hotel marlowe or the lennox hotel.

The Marriott Long Whaft...you can take the T from the airport and do not have to change trains...take the Blue Line to the Aquarium Stop and the hotel is less than a minute walk.

I also love the Taj Boston (across the street from the public garden) You cna take the T switch to the Green Line and get off at Arlington...the hotel is a block down the street.

Thanks everyone. I want to be near Faneuil Hall. I am also planning on visiting Newbury Street! And just doing general touristy things.
I have been looking at the different hotels, and want to stay at a nice clean one. But I don't want to spend an arm and a leg either.
I have been on expedia reviewing the comments, and really haven't seen any bad comments on any of them!
