Anyone been to the Fleet Center lately and parked at the North Station garage? Do you remember how much it was? I cannot find a rate schedule for this garage anywhere on line, so any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

DON'T DO IT. ;) Save yourself the hassle, and take the commuter rail up from the Attleboro line. ACK ACK ACK.

I went to a show a couple of weeks ago, and was toying with the idea of driving in, but was dissuaded by a couple of co-workers who sat in traffic on Storrow Dr for 45 minutes and missed the entire first period of the B's game. I ended up taking the red line from Braintree to Downtown Crossing, and switching over to the Orange, and went right into North Station.

If you feel you must drive, here is a link to the parking page on the Fleet's site, and it at least has a phone number you can call.

Good Luck!!!!

Also--here is my thread from a couple of weeks ago, with some other replies/opinions

I have to agree, stop at one of the T stations outside of town and take the train or the subway in.

Normally I would just take the T, but there are two reasons that I can't...

one is that I am meeting a friend from out of town who is bringing something for me and I have to have a place to put it (in my car)

and two is that I am going in for the Hockey East tournament, and if it goes into overtime I could miss the last train. I have had to leave Fenway early for the same reason and it stunk.

We were win there a couple of weeks ago and it wasn' t bad - of course it was on a sunday and that meant traffic wasn't as bad. It is expensive, but what parking in the city isn't? Don't forget to pay upstairs at one of the booths as you don't pay when you are leaving.

OK, OK, you DO have to drive. ;) I would not want to leave early either.

Just keep in mind--coming in from the South, they are going to send you out on Storrow Drive, and have you come into to Fleet garage that way, instead of getting off on Causeway.

I second JESW's advice about paying to park when you ARRIVE. That way you will not have to wait in line to pay, and then wait in line to get out of the garage.

Have fun!!
