Borrowing Questions

If my Use Year is Sept 2002, how many years out can I borrow? Can I borrow points from just Sep 2003 or can I also borrow from Sep 2004? I am thinking Sep 2003, but just want to clarify.

I am also wondering what the habits are of most folks that borrow. Do you borrow as far out as you can or does it bother you to not have any points available to use?

You can borrow out one use year ahead of the time of your reservation. You can borrow your September 2003 points for any stay that occurs between September 1, 2002 and August 31, 2003. Your September 2004 points could be borrowed and used for a stay that would occur between September 1, 2003 and August 31, 2004. Thus, beginning October 1, 2002 you could actually access your 2004 points for stays that were eleven months out (i.e., September 1, 2003 or after).

As noted, you can only borrow one year. You can amass 3 years worth of points by banking and borrowing.
